Love this little knife
I have had a couple of these...lost one and thought I had lost the other one, but found it. I ordered these 2 so that I would have one to replace the one I thought I lost and have a spare. Well, I don't mind have 2 spares. It is perfect to keep in my pocket for pop up needs, and it keeps its edge pretty good. Would highly recommend if you need a thin reliable single blade knife.

Fine Old Timer Pocket Knife
This is a fine general purpose pocket knife. Compact yet useful for most around the house purposes. The shipping and handling charge, however, was high--particularly as a perecentage of the cost of the knife.

Five Stars
I have one of the originals. The size is perfect for most jobs around the house or office. Im use to the case peanut and its thicker handle, but this one is fine. I prefer a smaller knife as it doesn't scare people and is better suited for suburban tasks. Im sure the new ones are fine since they are of the same pattern as mine. Ive also heard good things about Taylor cutlery. This is an inexpensive knife. Don't over think this.

Not What They Used to Be
Old Timer knives from Schrade once were considered very good knives. Now just cheaply made plastic handled knife of low quality. Emblem fell out almost immediately and you can just tell the knife will not last. Just be aware that you will get exactly what you’re paying for. The price is low as is the quality.

Disappointed
The fit and finish of this product is very poor. The center rivet is protruding and is not fully seated as it should be. This was true both knives I purchased.

Read fine print...
The main reason I purchased this item was because I saw in clear print Technical Details-Made in USA, but unfortunately I didnt read further,in smaller print,to my regret, that it is actually made in China(Product Description). I would not have bought this item if I had seen before that it is not made in OUR U.S.of A. My bad for not reading the entire page...
