I have medium length sort of hair. I prefer clay because it has just enough hold to keep my fringe out my face, but doesn’t cement my hair in position. It’s hard to find a clay that feels good, looks good and smells nice. This, for me, ticks all boxes.I’m still figuring out exactly how much to apply, but I’m very happy. It spreads easily on the hands and through the hair. Once it’s in you can’t tell, because it’s wonderfully matte! I have had matte clays in the past that gave a mild shine, but not so with this one! Obviously, the length of my hair means it can’t keep it in place like if it was short, but it does the job that I bought it for - a natural hold with easy movement.Finally the smell is nice. It’s kind of a slightly chemical raspberry vanilla scent, which isn’t as bad as I am making it sound. It’s really nice and fades over time.This is the best clay I have bought so far! Very happy.

This is a high quality hair styling product - I've been looking for the right styling product for my temperamental hair all my life with highly varying results. This consistently styles my hair the way I want, and it certainly lasts.

I've bought and used around 15 different hair products from amazon ranging from £5-£25 and let me tell you this; this is by far THE best hair product on the market. I have short to medium hair, and I like a messy, reworkable and matte texture. All these other products which claim to be matte are lies, but this product really gives a matte finish with absolutely no shine, gloss or grease. The hold is very firm and holds all day, all night and probably for the next few years.Stop wasting money on all the inferior products and buy this.

One of the best I've ever used. Super smooth on application, great hold and easily reworkable. The smell is a pleasant vanilla rum but isn't artifical smelling or overpowering yet lingers in a good way. For the dapper gentleman indeed. The tin art is inspiring as well. Highly recommended!

Terrible product. Consistency of hummos, but at least you can enjoy that. It’s sticky, gloopy and impossible to massage onto hands to warm, goes in and shows white, by the time you’ve blended in you’ll need to wash your hair again. Have scored it one star as I did manage to fill a small hole in the wall with it. Can’t get a refund so this is the trade off. Regret this purchase. Redken 20 a much better product

This stuff is....wow.The good - it has a decent subtle aroma which isn't offensive and unbelievably strong hold which rivals industrial adhesive/gap fillers. Once you put this in your hair, your hair is going nowhere. Easy to wash out, no strange residue which makes you feel like you need to wash your hair a few dozen more times.The not so good - like industrial adhesive/gap fillers, it's super hard to work into a usable form. I'm applying in winter so the tin/contents are also quite cool, but application also resulted in a decent amount of hair torn from scalp...not to mention it's hard to get off your hands onto your hair, so you end up washing a decent amount straight down the drain. If your hair is absolutely soaking wet it's easier to apply, but even then still not actually easy.If you absolutely need to ensure your hair isn't moving and you don't mind quite the challenge getting it into your hair, you may have found what you're looking for. I'm still not convinced, but I'll update during the height of an Australian summer if serious heat makes it less epic to apply.

This is for the ULTRA MATTE CLAY in the grey can. This stuff is amazing. There are numerous products available that promise a matte finish, but still leave your hair with a shine that is not natural. If you are looking for something truly matte, the grey tin is the way to go. A little goes a long way. Scent is subtle. Also, this is the only product I feel comfortable going to sleep with in my hair. It is very natural and does not come off on my pillows. (I normally shower at night anyway) It is almost like having nothing in your hair, yet it gives you tremendous control. The only con is that it is hard to get your hands on. As soon as I discovered this (I was using the matte paste in the yellow can before this one), it was sold out, and I had to get it from another site. Also, if you neglect to really emulsify it in your hands prior to application, it can leave a slight grey signature in your hair. So be sure to really rub this stuff into your palms and fingertips before running through your hair. It also gives a huge amount of volume to your hair. I have straight fine hair, and this makes me feel like I have a much fuller head of hair. 10 out of 5 stars. Just wish it were PRIME delivery. Get on that Dapper Dan! (I also wish I knew which product the reviews here were for: the grey tin or the red tin.)

This is what it promises. It's matte throughout a day's use. It's thick to put on but somehow goes on quite light and doesn't weigh down my thinnish hair. And it offers a good firm hold too. I suspect it may even make a nice cup of tea if you ask nicely.

名前の通りウルトラマットです。冬の校庭の砂煙をモロにかぶったような質感です。　ドライマットすぎます。セット力はあります。　洗い落としはしっかりめのシャンプーでなんとか落ちるかな？ぐらいで良くはないです。香りはブルーベリーガムのような匂いです。テクスチャーは固めで伸びが悪いようで以外と全体的にセットできますが見た目がドライすぎるので髪を濡らしてセットしたほうがいいです。
