Finally! A versatile car mount that works!
I always look for the products that have the best reviews. This hasn't let me down. After buying so many different gps holders, I gave up... They're cheap and only fit certain phones/devices. But then I decided to look for the best reviews on a gps / phone car mounts here on Amazon. Presto... This thing rocks. The clasping mechanism is slightly angled for excellent griping of your devices... My wife has an iPhone 6, and I have the iPhone 5s. This mount can be easily adjusted for either device in it's upright position. If you want your phone positioned sideways, simply loosen the ball-joint behind the clasping mechanism, rotate sideways, and tighten. Has a gentle release when removing your device. In the end, you just want something that works, and this definitely works for me!

Excellent Choice
So far, so good. I've used it for a month now and am very pleased with the quality and functionality of the product. It holds my Galaxy 5 securely in the grips and is stable mounted to the vent in my 2010 Impala.

Poorly Engineered.
Good idea, but poorly engineered. Don't buy it. I bought this air vent cell phone mount for my adult daughter. It's pretty much worthless, since it is difficult to stabilize so it doesn't move around when in use. It cannot, without some major adjustment, be made to fit solidly with no motion when attempting to mount or dismount cell phone. Don't buy it.

Lasted for two weeks!
I have had this cradle holder for two weeks. At first I loved it. It fit into the vent nicely. It has a little easel stand to keep it upright and it held my phone securely. For the past few days however, the gripping mechanism keeps releasing and the phone falls out. I have an iPhone 5C. I don't know if this is a known defect or if I just got a lemon. I have tried removing it and pushing the release button; realigning the sides, etc. Nothing works!

Great vent mount
After ordering several vent mount clips, most of which did not work with my phone and GPS, had to get returned because they would not work well with a vertical vent like they said they would.Well this one works great. It holds my Garmin and iPhone 6s. The clip into the vent is great. It is made out of metal. This is very high quality and the supports at the bottom work great too.

Terrific value mount.
There are numerous types of mounts and I purposely waited to write this review because I wanted to test its functionality. It is very durable and easily adjusted. I only have to tighten the holder itself once in a while. Easily holds my Galaxy S5 WITH my Otterbox Defender case.

Well made and works fine
...Fast shipping. Quality product. I like the quick release mechanism. Very easy to mount and dismount phone. Charger plugs into the side of my phone and this mount is designed to allow chord to be plugged into side while in mount.

Surprisingly easy to install
Surprisingly easy to install, and even fits my round, 2011 MINI vents. Took a little while to figure out which vent was best, for the MINI, but I got one for my wife's toyota and that literally took 5 seconds.
