With two adults and one dog on a 30-hour road trip, the car can get cluttered and dirty fast. This little trash can was the perfect solution to throw kleenex, dog wipes, apple cores, empty disposable coffee cups and more into. Small trash bags from home were suitable for it so it was easy to just lift the Velcro and replace the bag during a rest stop. The pockets on the side were excellent too for storing the extra trash bags, travel sized lint roller, travel wipes and the dog’s leash/poop bags. For how compact it is it really helps to organize quite a bit so you don’t have all of these odds and ends scattered around the car or slipping under seats. I have a sloped center console so mine doesn’t stand perfectly straight up but the strap you wrap it around the console with is easily adjustable so I got it to the right tension and it stayed in place for 9 days even with the dog doing her best to step in it/sniff it. Would absolutely recommend!

I am very shall we say OCD about keeping my vehicle clean. INSIDE AND OUT! So when I recently bought a new Equinox, I have been extra digilant about it. I went to Walmart to get a trash can that hung behind the passenger seat head rest. Well that was a bust. It hung floppy, no lid, and you could see the trash in it through the windows. Even when I added Velcro, the tape didn't stick, and it hung open. It was just an eyesore also, hanging there. I came here and saw several to choose from. Read the reviews, and like the sturdiness of this can, and the fact that I can put it behind the console between the two seats. Easy to reach while driving and not have to turn to do it. It is very sturdy, has hangers for a bag, and easy peasy to clean. One bag out, the other bag in. ALSO WATERPROOF in case of spills. It fits perfectly and is not an eyesore hanging on the back of the headrest like the other one was. Love it, and love the fact that it has a lid that closes so you don't see the garbage that is in it.

Do not get me wrong this is a hefty little size but for $15 I did expect it to be a little taller and wider vertically too. I also thought it'd come with something to help it keep shape like the smaller sizes which it didn't, there are 2 velco peices that are supposed to help keep its shape buy they dont really do that, but this is an easy fix as I just cut some of the cardboard box it came in to size them placed at the bottom which will help soak any liquid they may spill out off a bag if placed in (i reallyrecommended this if you don't want it to lose shape and get then most space out of it. Overall thoughts is it worth 15? Simple answer no unless this is really the only 3.5 gallon trash can on the market then I would say shop around just a bit more but that doesn't mean I hate it. The bag is big enough that it can fit 6 water bottles side by side in a 3 bottle row with a inch or half inch of room left over so it can hold a very good amount especially since most trash made in cars shouldn't be that big. The side bag holders are great for changing out the bag lining it after a gas station run as well as the pockets on the side can hold a good amount of them for storage. It is true that the inside is a waterproof material thays easy to clean as it is a plastic but reliable like material. Overall it is a great trash can that could be a little cheaper and even better if it came in other colors, I'd buy this again over smaller ones for the same price and should last a long time

I got this for my car and my car is never a mess anymore. I use small bags in it (4 gallon trash bags). The lid stays on great and it’s very sturdy. The square shape is great for where it goes in the car. I do wish it was a little bigger when I’m using it as a cooler but any bigger and it would be too big for a trash can in your car. Works great! Only problem I have is that I don’t quite know exactly how to put it on. I got it to work but there are parts hanging down and I don’t know where they should go. And some hooks hanging and I don’t know what those are for. But since I got it to hold steady there, I’m not worried about anything else!

Perfect for our roadtrip with 2 adults and 1 dog. It is small but the size was great for our small sedan. We didn't realize how many small trash items we generated (napkins, gum wrappers, etc..) until we started using it so it came in really handy.

I ordered two of them since I wanted to use in two different cars. The bag itself is of decent quality (like a good quality lunch bag...similar materials it seems. It is collapsible but when open it does not stay in the same sturdy square shape (as shown in the pictures). I wanted to place them behind the center consoles on my cars...didn't work exactly as planned. The straps are a little short for my purpose, but there may bee other cars where the designs (car and bag) complement each other and where you can hang the bag just as in the listed pictures...that was not the case for my cars. If you want to hang the bag from the shift knob (as shown in the pictures) it would work well, but that's not the placement I wanted. I would give it more stars if not for the issues I encountered personally...however it may still work for others. I tried it in three different cars (two benz and one honda crv) they didn't exactly fit the way I wanted. The issues I found are not with the quality of the bag but rather its ability to fit as picture and as desired... I neither have a positive or negative recommendation, the price is fair, delivery was quick and material decent...you just need to make a choice for yourself. If you are going to place it by the shift knob or behind the headrest then I'd say it's pretty good.
