Lime Basil 100 Seeds - Herb

These seeds had high germination rate and the lime fragrance, is so wonderful. I love to add it to drinks and use in cooking or added to a salad. It does not replace sweet basil but will be a staple in my garden.

Everything sprouted and I got a bumper crop. Try these leaves fresh in a summer salad for a great citrus zing. Some of the plants even over wintered.

Grows like crazy. I love lemon basil. One year I could find none but stumbled on lime basil seeds, and they performed quite well. I have grown both ever since - lemon is more delicate, lime is a hardier, faster-growing variety. Both have a lovely citrus tang in a mild basil flavor - perfect for Insalada de Caprese.
