Very supportive. Scarf can cover your face to a degree for some warmth and privacy. Material is soft and odor-free.

Edit: the seller refunded my purchase. I appreciate their standing behind the product and encourage people to give it a try as it seems like a good idea which just did not work for me. Not good. I purchased the larger size but exchanged for the smaller because I’m short. Very uncomfortable on an 11 hour flight. The plastic thing dug into my neck. Hated it and will try to return.

I had originally purchased the "adult" version, but my neck didn't fit well so I purchased the child size. This fits my neck more comfortably. I was able to test it out one afternoon sitting on the sofa, and I was able to doze off. I plan to use it as a passenger in the car, so it crossed my mind that my neck may become hot if we're travelling on a sunny day. Basically, the neck is wrapped in a scarf on a hot day. There was some dust on the fabric (maybe someone previously returned it) and the cover doesn't fit well, so that's why it missed the 5 star rating. Otherwise I feel it will work as advertised.

Junior size would fit shorter people too. But this doesn't work if you are the type who doesn't stay in a single position before you fall asleep since it only gives support on one side.

My oldest daughter (7) is a very active child both home & in public which is expected for kids. When my child gets into the car instantly she falls asleep on trips and as a result, her head careens all over the place while buckled up. My neck would hurt watching her until we purchased this blanket support pillow recently. Excellent support as well as comfort for trips throughout the week and especially the weekend for our child. The best advice is when it arrives to have the child practice putting it on even create a game how fast they can do it (securely) on both sides and get a feel for doing it. The muscle memory of wrapping it will make it easier when they are getting tired with instinct grab for the pillow quick wrap fall asleep during travel time. Excellent material great support

I have been using the TRTL pillows since the very first version and they have transformed my airline travel. I've bought every version and shared and gifted them to many people. When I saw there was a children's version available, I purchased it for myself because I hae a short neck and thought it just might fit a little better. It did! The cloth is very soft and the support size is perfect. I will also be giving one to each of my grandchildren who live globally as they get old enough to appreciate it. Continued great work!
