Country Life Buffered Vitamin C 1000mg with Bioflavonoids, Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium - Immune Support, Vegan Capsules, Gluten-Free, Gentle on Stomach - 100 Tablets

I've purchased about three of these over the years and the price keeps going up but I'm still happy with the quality. Bioflavinoids are helpful though probably don't affect potency or absorption much, but having buffered C is great for instances where you need to take a large amount in a short period of time because it reduces digestive upset. I also appreciate the glass container.If the price continues to rise I will have to look at other options such as buffered C powder or other brands.One note of caution: do not store in humid spaces. Even with the desiccant packet included, I had a portion of one bottle really gunk up and go bad when left in a place with no air conditioning for an extended time.

No problems.

I can now safely and comfortably consume this 1000mg tablet three times a day with no side effects, as it is buffered. But best taken with water, ice tea, orange juice, and not with food. It fights free radicals and supports the immune system.

These buffered vitamin C tablets were excellent for the price. I had stopped taking C for a while because I had serious gastric issues last year and didn't really know about the buffered aspect. My immune system is somewhat compromised after a couple of surgeries and several procedures and I felt it was time to come back to C. These do not upset my stomach at all and I am taking 2000 mg daily. I don't think I am imagining that I feel a bit better for taking them.The only problem that arises is that these tablets are quite large and even though they are coated, you need to be a good swallower to get them down. I have other tablets to take and take them all at one time, but I take these one tablet at a time. Nothing worse that getting a pill caught in your throat or not going down right.All in all, these are great value and I will continue to take them.

I love this vitamin C for eating like a candy. As someone who loves sour candies, I found this vitamin C to be very enjoyable to suck on. It has great flavor and very sour. Of course, it has the additional benefit of having a great dose of vitamin C.

Doesn't tear up your stomach.

I have searched grocery stores, health food stores, GNC and like stores, and the Internet for 1000 Mg time release buffered Vitamin C coated tabs (for ease in swallowing) and have had only a little luck. The sources I found were either not easily obtainable on a regular basis or the tabs were not coated and were difficult to swallow or I couldn't find any info on the manufacturer or where they were made. Country Life C's have been consistent in their quality, are mfg'd in USA, use a light inhibiting and non-porous recyclable brown glass bottle, have been in business since 1971, and provide a 250 count bottle which is less expensive per tab than smaller bottles. I use them to fight off infections, colds, allergy symptoms and for healthy skin. Love these C's!Update: As of June 2018 I am still buying and loving these Vitamin C's!
