Inside Passage Walking Tours: Exploring Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway and Sitka

We decided to skip most of the excursions this cruise trip and better explore the towns. The maps & info were superb! Really enjoyed the walking tours, taking our time without a tight schedule. Wherever we found ourselves we could also find restaurants etc. Relaxing.

This book is detailed and well-written. I'm using it to guide walks on our port stops during a cruise of the Inside Passage. It is perfectly written and organized for this use.

I bought two books for my upcoming cruise to Alaska. I thought this specific book would help me save money by doing excursions on my own. But the very first show I signed up for using information in this book was not the same price as quoted in the book. It was my fault for not paying attention to the publishing date. This book was published in 2011 and the prices have inflated by now. So, while the walking tours are informative, don't expect the prices to be right.

Great book for upcoming Alaska cruise. Have been there before, but this refreshed my memory and showed recent changes. Great size for carrying with us.

An excellent book for those planning their own walking tours outside the normal touristy spots.Especially helpful if you have an interest in local history and culture.
