Finally solved my flickery license plate light on my VW MK7 GTI!
If you’re dealing with a license plate light error on your VW MK7 GTI, save yourself the headache and grab these bulbs. I went through the usual routine—standard replacement, then tried LED about six months ago. The light worked, but it flickered just enough to be annoying, and more importantly the error wouldn’t go away even after coding. Finally picked up this Philips set based on a recommendation, and boom—problem solved. No more error, no more flicker, and the light looks clean. For just a few bucks, it’s a solid fix that’ll probably last for years. Honestly, don’t overcomplicate it. It’s a license plate light, not a headlight. Skip the fancy LED stuff and go with something that just works.

Who knew Quartz Halogen Bulbs Fade Over Time?
My low beams were not burned out, but after 6 years they had faded noticeably. It's still a pain to relace these on an E-class sedan. Yes, you have to take the front wheels off the car. Don't ask, just watch the YouTube video and get out your floor jack. The new bulbs are bright and clear and I've very happy I made the change.

As described. I installed these on the 2013 c300 benz. They are slightly brighter than the original ones. Its more of a warm light. I wish philips made some Xtreme white ones to pair with my low and high beam bulbs. But overall, i'm happy with this purchase and would buy again.
