I decided to get rid of my plow guy. I had a single stage snow blower which I used to clean up next to the street, the front walk and wherever the plow guy missed. The plow guy keeps charging more money, so I went to Craigslist and bought an old used MTD 24-inch snow blower. It worked OK initially but then the float in the carburetor sank. It had a crack. I now had to go to the great expense of buying this carburetor. It installed easily and runs great. We used to buy rebuild kits for more than this thing costs. The only adjustment was the need to adjust the idle screw so that the throttle closed more than what the original setting as received..

After years of my snowblower not really running right.I decided to just replace the carburetor after seeing how reasonable this was priced.The carburetor was the exact replacement factory set with no adjustment screws to mess with. It bolted right on , the snowblower fired right up and runs like new.

It was identical to the original and worked perfect.

Product was as specified in the description. Bad gas had ruined old carb in Troy Built snowblower. Installed, primed and she started on first pull. I was able to get this for a little under $9.

For the price to bolt on and go this is the deal.Mounted right up, after initial starts ran fantastic. A lot more inexpensive on time and money then to rebuild.
