When we got our new German Shepherd/Mountain Cur puppy, we knew we had to get her some awesome toys. I say puppy, but she is probably around 9 months (she's a rescue) and has her adult teeth. We have seen friends' dogs rip apart toys, coming home to stuffing strewn across the living room, and when we caught our little girl with a paper towel ripped to shreds that she stole, we knew we had to find something that couldn't be torn up into little pieces!DESIGN/QUALITYI absolutely love the quality of this plush! I mean obviously every toy eventually goes into the trash, but this one has held up quite nicely! I have to agree with their marketing promise, that because there is no stuffing to rip out, dogs are less rough on the toy! Our little Poppy spends most of the time making this thing squeak, and then snuggling up with it! The only issue we have had, is that our dog freaks out every time she sees a squirrel now. Cats she ignores, chipmunks she is curious of, but squirrels now drive her nuts! Hah!WHY 5 STARS??- Excellent quality material used!- Has lasted longer than most toys!- Dual squeakers for double the fun!OVERALLOverall we love this toy, and our dog does too! Surprisingly, this squirrel has lasted a while. Well one of the squeakers is dead. But usually by now this toy would be ready for the trash. Reasonably priced and sturdy!

I've gone through various toys on the dog market to find a safer fit for my maltipoo. The two problems that most plush toys pose for canines are the stuffing and the squeaker. Both of which could cause intestinal problems if not passed through the stool when swallowed, with the latter being the more dangerous. It's especially worrisome since many times these parts won't show up in xrays as you try to determine what is wrong with your beloved pet.The nice thing about this toy is that there isn't any stuffing and it's plush and soft enough that your pet will often cuddle with it between it's paws.The drawback, is it's durability. Mine has lasted a while, but I don't think it would have lasted if I played tug-of-war like I do with my other toys. I can feel the seams and it feels too delicate to endure a full on tug with my pet. I think this product has lasted so long because it's stuffingless and doesn't allow my dog to grasp the toy to use as leverage to pull while gnawing.The other drawback is the squeaker inside, once the plush toy rips and the squeaker is accessible, it's small enough to be easily swallowed. Also, because it is so light, you can't play fetch as well with this line of toy because you can't throw them a great distance.Even knowing the drawbacks, I would still use with caution and purchase this product again.

The media could not be loaded. I had read the reviews before purchasing. I thought we would get some longevity but literally within FIVE MINUTES, she had both squeakers out of the body and out of their netting AND had ripped the sewn-in eyes out. Don't get me wrong, she's still dragging this sightless, mute squirrel around proudly, but I was hoping for more

If you have a dog who likes to chew & rip up toys & even eat their toys … this brand is excellent. Very safe , and your pet will have hrs of fun .

By far this fox has been the fav of all my dogs. It lasted through a couple of different dogs that eventually passed. ...in fact are buried with them. I am on dog #3 and more fox toys such as this than I can count. We now have a rescue Schnauzer that is one year old. He has gone through at least two and this last one lasted 2 weeks. He has almost consumed the squeaker so I remove them . I keep sewing them up with dental floss which works by the way ! But 2 week lifespan on this last one is now beyond my budget. I hope more durable material could be found. I would pay for it! I give it #5 for dog-enjoyment and a #1 for duration. Average #3 if you can afford it.

Lo compré en promoción pero era juguete viejo. Los pititos uno no sonaba y el otro dejo de sonar pronto . Se deshacía el peluche.

My previous dogs had a skineeez toy and it is still going strong. Bought this one for our current dogs and am glad to say that it is standing up to a lot of abuse from 2 young dogs. No more stuffing to come out, easy to wash and dry

Mein Hund hatte nie etwas für Spielzeug übrig... aber für Eichhörnchen... Deswegen habe ich dieses mal gekauft und er liebt es super doll!

Ce n'est pas le premier jouet que j'achète ici et chaque x la même déception (de taille! ;) les dimensions ne correspondent pas. Ce jouet devait faire 60cm de long ; il faut croire qu'ils l'ont mesuré de haut en bas ET de bas en haut ∞ Je mets tout de même 2 étoiles car il a le mérite d'avoir résisté aux attaques sanguinaires de mon greyound pendant plus d'une journée :-)

J'avais déjà acheté le renard 38 cm lorsque mon chien (1 an 20kgs) était petit puis le raton 61 cm et là j'ai craqué sur l'écureuil. Il ne se passe pas un jour sans qu'il se promène avec l'un ou l'autre, régulièrement il les secoue dans tous les sens en les faisant couiner rageusement, bref il s'amuse comme un fou avec ces peluches qui réveillent sans aucun doute son instinct de chasseur. Pas particulièrement fragiles mais on évite quand même de jouer avec lui en tirant chacun d'un côté surtout qu'il a la fâcheuse tendance à les tenir par les pattes ou les oreilles.
