Bulk supplements has always been good quality. And to be fair, OKG I bought from purebulk when bulk supplements was out of stock, also smells of nail polish. I suspect they use the same source and this has just slipped by. The smell on opening the package is unmistakable, but the taste of the product does not seem too far off. However, the smell seems to indicate something toxic in there. I have smelled this before (as I mentioned in the pure bulk review) years ago with Ribose and then I heard several people had gotten ill from it. So please identify this contaminant and test for it in the future. We all love the bulk availability of these aminos, but no one wants to get sick from using a health related product! Thanks!

I use this with a combo of NAC and lysine mixed in water, it tastes a little sour but I love the taste. I have the mthfr gene, which makes your body difficult to detox , and this helps me so much ! I also think that it helps with muscle tone, before I started using this I worked out every other day and could see no muscle tone so I do see a difference. I think it’s a very clean supplement otherwise my body would react to it, I would not be without it .

I've tried various supplement solutions for high ammonia, and OKG is the only one that does anything for me. I've always had issues with higher ammonia, backed up by labs as well as actually being able to smell it when doing cardio. Anyway, OKG is somewhat hard to source, and I've been somewhat ambivalent towards Bulk Supplements due to their system of exchanging free products for reviews. However, I can vouch for this specific powder.

After reading around and finding a few studies showing that ornithine HCL could help increase sleep quality (likely by lowering cortisol levels) I bit the bullet and decided to trial it. I chose this product because it was priced well, the brand has great reviews, and the keto-glutarate salt likely improves the effects and bioavailabilty of ornithine. The dose used in the studies was 500mg of ornithine HCl, which equals about 400mg of ornithine. For the OKG salt, you need about 800mg since the keto-glutarate makes up about half of the weight.After using it at 800mg 30-60 minutes before sleep I can say my sleep has been deeper. I judge this by how often I wake up to switch positions which seems to have lessened. I wake up feeling about the same as before, but I don't feel the need to jump back in bed. I'll continue using this to see if the effects build up over time or if they are acute.

Best at reducing Ammonia build up in the body, as an added bonus it helps you retain muscle when you are low calories.Both my son's and I use it daily and have noticed that our headaches are gone, whether low grade nagging ones, or the infrequent bad ones, no more headaches, love this stuff!

Great for boosting energy. There is no taste or texture. I mix with either apple or orange juice. It’s great for your skin.

Love this product. I mix with apple juice to "hide" the taste. Helping me get leaner and stronger. I keep protein and creatine as staples in my workout plan. I was stuck, not getting anywhere. All my weights started moving up since I added this, which is great since I am cutting and running a calorie deficit. Definitely will be part of my regimine. Side note: I have tried many other supps to bring me to the next level. Nothing else has worked like this..

The product is as described by the seller, pure 100 percent bulk suppllement. Why paid extra for the capsule when you can get it "bulk". Only thing that dislike was that , there was no measurement spoon.
