I had been looking for a small pan like this since I mostly cook for two. There aren’t many induction pans not sold as a set. This one works great for me and I use it more than my other ones.

The first one arrived with the glass lid smashed to Smithereens. The shipping box was undamaged. Had to carefully pick up from the floor tiny shards of glass that fell from the box. The replacement arrived with the cover intact, but it was loose in the box, so it was vulnerable. There was a sticker outside the bottom, that left an adhesive residue that i had to scrape away. This pan is heavy, 1.33 Lb., without the lid; I have a 2Qt induction pan that is 1.32Lb. Being heavy it retains more heat, water continues to boil for a while after lifting the pan off the range, defeating the instant feature of induction cooking.

Love this addition/replacement for my small quick sides for our 3 year old. So easy to clean as a bonus!

Despite all the reviews that claim it works on all kind od induction cooktops and Amazon's Choice,, It does NOT work on induction cooktops.

I searched for just this—a small (1 qt. ) nonstick induction ready saucepan for some time without success in all “the usual suspects” until this popped up. It is excellent in all its features. If you already have a larger saucepan that “came with the set” then this is the small version to complement it.

Cute little thing, and also substantial! Going to be a long term favourite!
