The book is great. Lots of pictures and very help. Unfortunately the 4-wheeler itself is junk and a money pit. Thankfully this book helps me keep it going.

You will not be disappointed in the clearly written instructions and pictures that accompany. If you are a beginner mechanic or well experienced this is a great tool for all specs and references and a thorough "how to" guide.

Helped trouble shoot problem

I can probably dismantle this ATV down to component level and put it back together again without a manual. however, I have found that it is sometimes easier to have the manual if for nothing other than a reference. this manual has plenty of information but it tries to cover too many years and too many models all in one publication. the information given is spotty and jumps around on which model its referring in the text and pics. its lacking in detail in my opinion. If you are a newbie and not familiar with ATV/motorcycles and how they go together or work. I would not recommend this manual. in fact I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I would try the Clymer manual maybe its better than this one.after making this review. I found that if you look hard enough, well... not really that hard at all. you can find the Factory Polaris Service Manual online for free download as well as the parts manual.

exactly what I expected

I purchased this manual to rebuild my engine on my 2003 Polaris Magnum 330 4X4 ATV. Excellent manual to understand and follow to repair.

As promised

nice to have your own repair manual, wrap in plastic and have it with you all the time. Quick checks and repairs are easy when you know what your are looking for.

Some item details like thermostat switch is not shown nor over heat switch. A picture of the items help but relevant location is not explained. Electrical drawings are complete but again trying to locate some items from drawing to machine are not explained.

Always a fan of the Haynes manuals, so when we ended up with my mother-in-laws Polaris, it was my first purchase. Haven't had to use it yet, but will be doing a basic oil and filter change soon and looking forward to using the book for it.

Good manual. I think Clymer manuals are definitely better
