Herpecin L does what it says it will do. Applied at the first sign of a fever blister and then with follow up applications for a couple of days prevents the fever blister from happening. It’s a great value for the money and effectiveness.

The only thing that actually works for fever blisters. I can’t keep it because I give it away to anyone who has a fever blister. Outstanding product

Well price cold sore preventative chapstick! Can’t say this prevents alone but works well in my regime as my daily chapstick. Makes my lips moisturized and soft for a great price. I like the smell/taste it seems like vanilla. It would be great to have docosanol, antiviral, in it too!

This stuff is life changing. I've suffered with big painful cold sores that would last for weeks since I was 5 years old and never took anything for them growing up. As an adult I discovered the patches which were nice for discretion and pain management while the patch is on, but I do feel like they make the healing process much longer. I'm currently on day 3 with a cold sore, started using this product 24 hours after I felt the beginnings of an outbreak, I currently have zero pain and the inflammation has been significantly reduced. I was skeptical of this product for so long but now I will always keep this on hand!

Actually works for cold sores! This is the only thing that truly works for my cold sores. I highly recommend it to anyone who gets them. It really helps speed up the healing process. It does feel a little weird and tastes pretty bad (at least to me), but I honestly don’t care because it works so well. The price is great too. It contains beeswax — which I’m allergic to — but I still use it because it’s that effective. Apply it directly to the sore, and if you can, wear a mask when going out or put on a thick layer before bed.

This is my long-time go-to when seasonable conditions render my dry, cracked and just short of breaking out with fever blisters [cold sores]. Have been using it for years and really do find it beneficial. Works for me!
