My husband is truly the grill master of our town so I thought 'what better Christmas gift'?He had complained that he could not find a scraper to clean the grill with just the other week, so when I came across a whole BBQ set that came in a storage case I knew I had hit jackpot. I read a few reviews and they were mixed, some said the kit seemed quite cheap, others thought it was great so I decided to just order it and see for myself.The BBQ set arrived within a few days, the delivery was super speedy and it was well boxed and padded to protect from damage. When I opened it I was very happy. I did not think there was anything cheap looking about this kit at all. It had everything either a pro or a new griller would possibly need. I know that my husband is going to be over the moon with his present.I would highly recommend this if you are thinking of buying.

I would prefer to give this 3.5 stars but I figured 4 will do. The set has been reliable enough that I'm feeling generous.I bought this set because I was looking for a simple grilling set that contained all the basic essentials. Because camping can be kind of rough on any equipment, I specifically was searching for something that was on the cheaper side but functional. This meet my expectation and then surpassed it slightly. After reading the other reviews I was sure I was making a mistake, but I really couldn't find another set like it for the price (I purchased it cheaper than what it goes for now).When the set first arrived I was immediately disappointed just because it looked smaller than expected and I was worried the items inside would be too. The case is definitely NOT high quality, in fact mine has already cracked on the side from one drop. Inside the story gets better. First off, the case really is a cheap product. While everything, for me, was in its proper place from transport, I later discovered sometimes putting something back in its spot could be difficult. Especially the skeweres. They seem to not want to fit back in their slots but I figured out if you grab the tip and middle of the skewer, lay it in crooked, then twist the rest of it, it'll force it's way back into its spot.Unlike the case, the utensils actually seem more of a decent make and they actually were a good decent size. The wood handles are nice and smooth with leather hoops at the end I've used to hang them next to the grill, and all of them hold the metal just fine. I never noticed any looseness with any of my untenisls. The tongs were crooked by almost 1/2in but it didn't bother me and the corn cob stubs are tough to use. I think the metal is too thick but really they were just bonus for me so I didn't mind either.Overall, your purchase won't be grand. Having a father myself that literally grills almost every night, I would be embarrassed to give him this as a gift and I'm not sure he'd even take it. Yet, for the price and for something you might be thinking of for camping or only grilling a couple times a year, this will do the job.

My step dad always had a set very similar to this one if not the same one, and it hasn't had any problems after all these years so now that I'm married and in my own place, I went looking for one. I found this one and I love it! I don't do the grilling or anything, but my husband loves cooking out all year-round and when I handed this to him, he was so excited. He made sure I was aware of how nice everything was and that it "literally comes with everything!" Lol of course I care about what it comes with but I love that the quality is the same as the one that has lasted years at my parents house. I love the wood and the case and how easy they are to clean and put away. This will last a long time and it was such a great deal for the price. Thank you!

My husband absolutely loved his early Father's Day gift. The week prior he had purchased a new grill and I immediately thought of this as a gift from the kids and I for Father's Day. I couldn't wait until Father's Day so we gave it to him early and he enjoyed using it as he cooked his famous chicken wings for us. Even the skewers have a little piece of metal on them so you can slide all your meat and veggies off in one swoop and the top of the skewer is a bit wider so you can never lose that piece and I just thought that was a genius idea. I would recommend this to anybody and I might even buy this as a gift for somebody in the future. Amazon did great choosing this as one of their picks!
