I figured I'd try this since usually people think 0 calorie, 0 sugar, "healthY" or whatever food is bad because it's not the garbage food they are used to... but this stuff is TERRIBLE. One of the few times I couldn't force myself to eat something and throw it away. I thought it'd be nice to use but honestly just plain cacao is better than this.... and probably has a lot more benefits for you too.It didn't really taste much like chocolate to me and had a sort of... almost sour taste? There was something to it that makes me think "spicy" but not really like spicy food.. more like it burns like you're eating something that is not food.Maybe I got a bad jar... but even if I got something 10% as bad as this I'd not want it. Terrible taste, weird sour/burn feeling to it, just gross and all around bad. I should've looked in to a refund but I tried it a few different times, different times of day, different ways... and it's just HORRIBLE. I haven't had it in months and just thinking of it makes me feel sick.

Please realize that these products are calorie free, and you will have to be open minded about taste. If you are on a serious diet, and are really making an effort to cut out the foods that are needlessly using up your calories then you will appreciate how amazing these products are. I would describe this Chocolate dip as tasting like Chocolate pudding with a slightly bitter after taste. I don't even care about the after taste, I'm just so thrilled I get to guiltlessly spoon something that nearly tastes like pudding into my mouth. It tastes great in greek yogurt! I even dip celery sticks into it. I eat extremely clean, and I miss all the sugary foods I gave up to keep my bodyfat at an extremely low percentage for bodybuilding. If you are in the same boat, get a hold of these products, they will save you from losing your sanity or bingeing on the bad stuff!

This is a review of Walden Farms Chocolate Dip. This has to be one of the most vile, disgusting things I've ever tasted. It's too thin to be anything even remotely resembling chocolate and if there is actually any cocoa powder in it, it's completely obliterated by the rancid, chemical-heavy taste. I hate wasting money, but it went straight to the trash. It has no redeeming value whatsoever.

I'm not picky when it comes to food and I understand that a zero calorie product cannot taste as good as a normal chocolate spread or sauce, but unlike other Walden Farms products that I tried, this chocolate dip is uneatable. It tasts like cocoa powder dissolved in water and vinegar. When I tried it pure, I had to spit it out. When I tried it on my vanilla ice cream, I could just barely swallow it without getting nauseated.The consistency is like that of evaporated milk, too liquid to distribute in a glass. It should come in a bottle, if at all. If you dip something in it, the substance will run right off.Walden Farms - back to the drawing board! Please redesign this product, take the vinager taste out and make it thicker.

This product is not good - simply put. The smell and after taste - and frankly the before and during taste - is just not pleasant. The sweetness is very strange, it’s a bit citrusy? Not at all reminiscent of chocolate. I think the caramel one would have been a better choice for me. That being said I was excited for this, bought the two pack and some of the dressings as well and am very much regretting this purchase. It smells and tastes like a warehouse and gives me a headache and does not at all agree with my stomach. May work for some but I can’t imagine who.

I have bought this product for years. Recently, Walden Farms has changed the label. The product in the jars with the new label is more liquid than previously, and tastes more bitter. This is not the fault of the vendor selling this product on Amazon, it is a regrettable decision by the manufacturer.

Definitely has a very sweet flavor and you can taste the artificial sugar. But I love the fact that it has zero calories.

Okay so I know this is going to be bad before I purchased it so I bought it as an ingredient for a low calories chocolate dip. The problem of it is it’s way too sweet, too liquid-y, full with stevia aftertaste with absolutely no bitter aftertaste(what makes chocolate good). So what I did was to add about 40grams of unsweetened chocolate powder(I tried to add water and stevia in it it was a fail so this is perfect) and boom it became goodness!! I mean it’s still a 100kcal per jar chocolate dip but it’s goodness when you haven’t indulge chocolate for years. I’m planning on adding peanut powder in the peanut butter one to see if it works lol, but guys, this one does work! (Chocolate powder:6grams/15kcal add more if you want!

Ich liebe Schokolade und weil ich ein wenig abnehmen wollte hab ich versucht eine Low Calorie Alternative zu finden. Da hab ich mir zwei Produkte (Peanutbutter und Chocolate) von Walden Farms bestellt. Beide überhaupt nicht empfehlenswert.

I tried this seeing the good reviews but when I tried the brown liquid ( supposedly chocolate spread) it was absolutely disgusting! For some strange reason it also stung the back of my throat.
