Elite Sports BJJ GI for Men IBJJF Kimono BJJ Jiu Jitsu Lightweight GIS W/Preshrunk Fabric & Free Belt

Okay so I'm going to preface this review with the pros. The fabric is incredibly comfortable. The keikogi itself is light weight. Not to mention it has an overall cool and slick look which was what attracted me to it in the first place. Now on to the cons. These keikogi seem to be cut for tall, extra lean people. I'm a bit shorter but I have a wider frame from my lifting routine. I've tried two different sizes (A3 and A4) and, while it is cut for taller people, it just doesn't fit me right. The arms are too narrow and the width does not accommodate my chest or shoulders. The overall quality of this keikogi is 5 stars, no doubt about that; however they seem to only cater to a specifically built crowd which is why I cannot in good conscience rate this any higher than 3 stars. If anyone from Elite Sports LLC reads this, please consider making a keikogi for the lifting crowd.

Great light weight gi, especially for the price point. It seems well stitched and of good quality material. I like that it seems to have an athletic cut, which is good for muscular guys. It is sized smaller than most other gi’s I’ve bought so remember that. Usually I can wear an A3-A4 in most brands but here I need an A5 so it will fit my arms and back. I like it, I will use it when traveling to teach. It will be nice and light to pack.

Based on size requirements, SIZE UP! My husband normally buys an A5 but based on the size specifics, he got an A4. The A4 is short. It’s not the width, it’s the length. He is 6ft, the arms are too short.But the price, you can’t beat it. Oh and the lightweight fabric, so much better than the other more expensive so called “light weight” kimonosUpdate: we ordered an A5, fits perfectly. So whatever size gi you normally order, stick with that

I bought this gi as a backup and couldn’t be happier with the purchase. I like the minimalist design and the ability to patch it up with my clubs patches. It’s held up very well for training. Would make a great starter or backup gi for anyone. Highly recommended.

I don't like to take soecial care of Gis as I train too often and maybe have a little laziness when I'm not training so I buy them a little larger so I can out them in the dryer. With that said, I ordered this particular one (A5) for my nephew, he's 6'0"/290lb, barrel chested with a belly, tree trunks for quads and shoulders, it fits him but he can't dry it. Both my kids also have these in smaller sizes and were able to dry them with not much shrinking.

I like this Gi for the cost. It’s sizing is hard to know, as are all Gis.I went a size larger than usual and it was the right choice.It’s very very comfortable and allows for good movement with no restriction.I’d absolutely recommend and will buy another one when I’m in need again.
