God Calling 2: God at Eventide

I have had Book # 1 , for decades. Very good reading. I wasn't aware that there was a GOD'S CALLING 2.. this is by the same author.. hardback, good size, to hold. Very pleased, quick delivery.

My wife has had "God Calling" daily devotional book for so many years that it has become thread bare. I bought this second edition and a new copy of the original, both in hard back. She uses them every day

Every night without fail I read one short passage. When I finish the book, I start all over again. This is an absolute treasure!Warning! This will turn out to be a very expensive purchase, not in the price here, but the added up price for all the copies you'll wind up buying for your friends!

I have read "God Calling " since 1983. The thoughts and guidance always seems fresh, partly because I am in a different frame of mind each year. I know it was written for me, but you may read it too.

I wouldn't think of starting my day off without this awe inspiring book where God speaks to you personally each and every day . I highly recommend this book for everyone who has devotionals . It's the king of devotionals in my estimation. Another Great devotional is Sarah Youngs Jesus Calling. It's the third book I pick up every morning to start my day off with my lord and savior. I also have had the original God Calling for 37 years, it's quite dog eared now but I can't part with it. I prayed and asked God to show me a book he wanted me to read and then I stumbled upon GOD CALLING. Now I read God Calling first and then God Calling 2 and then Sarah Young's Jesus Calling , each and every morning. I would be lost without these three extremely awesome devotionals . In my opinion, there is none better.

Excellent addition to the original God Calling. Not quite as impactful, but certainly God-inspired.

I've been reading "God Calling" every morning for about 5 years and I'm amazed that it feels so fresh even after this long, so I purchased "God Calling 2" for my evening reading. I've not been as inspired by this one, perhaps because I'm tired at night? To me it seems that the editor selected the best quotes for the first book, and seeing its tremendous success, gleaned among the rest for this collection.

The best book to read every morning!!!

Love it..I read both the morning and evening God Calling books, they keep me grounded in Gods word, everyday positive, uplifting messages, full of grace, truths and treasures.Have shared with friends and as you begin to have a personal relationship with God, the readings become more significant and meaningful. For me the second best “Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth” books. The best of course being the BIBLE.

I have been reading God Calling since 2008 which was given to me as a present. I really enjoy reading it each day and I am surprised at how accurate it can be no matter how many times I read it. This is why I invested in The God Calling 2, I now read this in the evening.....Very uplifting too..

Having bought Book One 12 years ago, I p,urchased this for myself having made an additional order for Book One for a friend. Hardback edition. Just beautiful verses and inspirational.

I already had God calling the originalBook which I read each day and now I have the evening one too. I find that it speaks to me all the time of Gods love grace mercy kindness and strength.
