This arrived yesterday, and way ahead of when I thought it would arrive. It is a fantastic instrumentand I am addicted to playing it. Yamahas are outstanding horns--I have the same model as an alto and love that also. Comes with a very nice case and the mouthpiece is a functional yamaha standard issue. You get better sound if you upgrade to a professional mouthpiece, though. The action on the keys is so smooth and easy that I can play much more fluidly than on my old junker.The price somehow was much, much lower than anywhere else I've looked online and in stores. And because it's Amazon, I didn't have to pay shipping. Once again, I am left asking the question "how does Amazon do it?" I don't know the answer.

Great sax, great sound
Started with a less expensive saxophone. Struggled with it for three weeks trying to get good notes and good sound. Took it to an instrument technician who found it had five leaks and needed $150 worth of repairs. Decided to send it back. Purchased this Yamaha to replace it. It is a delight. The notes come easily. The lower notes are buttery smooth. Already own a Yamaha alto and a Yamaha clarinet. I have to say all three instruments are high-quality and worth every penny. Now I can focus on improving my technique and embouchure rather than being frustrated with a bad horn. Highly recommend this sax. Came from Sam Ash.

Been player sax for years I have an alto yamaha its 62 love it ... wanted a tenor bought a cheap tenor and then I ordered this sax and it is an intermediate sax that plays just as well as my professional alto. great sax for the money. ditch the mouth piece far a good one I have a Meyer and a metal mouth piece great addition this sax came with a great case and very good strap. love it. cant put it down. great price great sax. it came 5 days early
