Immediate difference
I’m 6’1 220 and I’ve been riding more loose trucks lately but the stock bushings on Indy forged hollow 11’s was a little squishy for me so I switched to these and my set up feels better to my liking. I don’t have to tighten my trucks much with these bushings.

Installation hints so these will work as expected:
I got these to deal with wheel bite on my 9" deck without having to put thick pads under my trucks.The black bushings are very hard and gummy and will try to slide sideways out of the cups when you carve a deep turn. They don't behave like the softer bushings.Use the cups that come with the bushings. They have deeper sides and will help keep the bushing from sliding outside of the cup.You cannot run these loose. You have to tighten them down a bit or they will work their way out of the cups. They will look somewhat "bulged out" when they are tightened down enough.I had the same trouble as other reviewers until I figured them out.

Poor Quality – Deformed on First Use
I weigh 190 lbs, and these Independent Hard bushings were a complete disappointment. From the very first session, they deformed and popped out of the washer, making my trucks unstable and unusable. They don’t hold their shape under pressure, which makes them a terrible choice for heavier skaters. I do NOT recommend these for anyone over 180 lbs. Save your money and go for Bones Hardcore instead!

200lbs of stability
I had recently taken up skateboarding, one to teach my son, and two I don’t know why I stopped when I was a teenager. Anyhow, I’m not 150lbs anymore and I love my truck tight. The stockers that came on my ace trucks were screaming from how tight I had them, and still loose when I ride. That’s all done with these babies. I’ve had yet to get to the skate park and try them out, but just messing around with my new set up I feel the difference and improvement. If you want stability give these a go.

Just right.
I weight 165 and I replaced the factory bushings and so far so good. I like my trucks on the tight side and these fixed my issue right up. Happy.
