Replaced my pump /motor with the 2HP one and it arrived promptly, I requested one day delivery. The unit is generally the same as I had previously, added new PVC NTP 1.5" pipe and replaced a couple hoses that was leaking.Electrical this unit came wired to a switch for low/high speed, middle being the Off position and 3 wires were there so you can add an extension cord recommended only shot distance to the grounded outlet/GFI and mine is setup in a storage housing and plugged in. I used a heavy duty guage cord with proper connectors and locking ring. Super easy green to green/ Black to Black and white to white.Got everything in position and let water flow with lid open to allow water to fill the filter then locked hand tight.Opened all the valves and turned pump/motor on.I have rebuilt my own motors previously and this in my opinion is quality product.The Price was excellent/ even adding $19.00 for one day deliver and $10.00 for replacement warranty

It fits and everything but the lid for the basket is too hard to get back on so I can't even turn it on... edit. I primed it and the water made it much easier to close.

I have bought 3 of these pumps... first one worked great. 5 months still running... next one I purchased was for a friend opened the box.. there we're fittings glued on to the intake and it was cracked, exhaust had fittings glued to it as well... It had inspection stickers on it but it was never inspected... the 3rd pump I ordered box was perfect. No dents no sign of damage at all. Opened box had my electrician friend connect to power, and all the motor would do was hum. we checked voltage again and amps. all was well within limits for the motor. will never again buy anything from this manufacturer ever again. even bought the extend warranty but could not get anyone on the phone. look else where when looking for a pool pump.

Alright so I am no pump expert but this worked great. We used it in a haunted attraction to make a fake sewer set. It worked great and I will say with being a heavy attended attraction people would throw random things into the water and this pump had no problem. It was easy to install, easy to empty the trap and worked all season long with no issues. Even survived being filled with bubbles... a lot of bubbles.

Wonderful to have 2 speeds and on off switch right under rear of motor. Very quiet, especially after having my old pump that was super loud. Great suction and primed rather easily. I would recommend to anyone in need of a new pump. Great value for the money. No one ever wants to have to replace a pool pump. But this pump has allowed my 23,000 gallon in ground pool to quieter & cleaner without having to spend a ton of cash.

So far so good. Definitely love the 2speed also makes a big difference. I have a 36,000 gal. .inground pool. I have ran this pump non stop sense I bought it. I had a Hayward pump before this one and I won't even think of going back to the overpriced expensive Hayward. When u can buy this for less then half price. And it's twice the power and very quite. Also being 240volt saved me money on my electric bill. My Hayward cost me almost double running on 120volt. And Hayward pump was only 1hp 1 speed vs the one I have now is a 2hp 2 speed

This pump performed much better than the one it replaced. In addition to being a 2 hp vs 1.5 hp, it had a 220v motor. Unfortunately it failed at almost exactly two years after we ordered it. Our previous pump lasted four years.

Great value. The adapters restrict the flow from 2” to 1.5”, but works fine. Make sure you have over 8” inches of wire to connect, it was very close trying to make the existing wiring to reach the connectors. Finally, you will need crimp connectors to connect it, it does NOT provide screw lugs for the wire.
