Walton 10084 #8, 4 Flute Tap Extractor With Square Shank

Works great

A little bit challenging to get everything lined up and get the fingers in between the flutes, but once it is, in my case, the broken tap backed right out.

WARNING!!! Do not buy this product. I followed the instructions that they give you. This product did not work at all. I even watched videos on the internet to make sure that I was doing it right. The idea is good, but the product does not do the job. It will just bend on you even with the slightest amount of pressure when you try to move the move the tap left and right just to get it loose.

Broke off a hardened tap in a blind hole that was in hardened steel. If the tap extractor had not worked, I would have trashed the entire part I think. Thankfully the extractor worked. It is a bit finicky to use,,,,, but it worked when nothing else had

I had tried several other methods of removing the broken tap with no success. This tool was my last effort and it worked perfectly
