Plastic Reptile Tank Decor - Resin Platform, Artificial Tree Trunk Design with Water Dish for Lizard, Gecko, Frog

This item is very pretty and our Bearded Dragon loves it! He did at first try to eat the greenery. But we wanted to use this as a water dish for Earp. We put the water in and stepped away and it was empty when we returned not even 2 mins later. There were a bunch of holes in the dish itself which caused leakage. However, we liked the dish enough that we now use it for Earps greens. I wouldn't recommend this for holding liquid, but it is very pretty and would do great as a food dish!

People keep writing that this is leaking... I think they are getting the leaking confused with evaporating. It isn't very deep and it will evaporate about 1/3 of the water or more in one day and I have it in a exoterrium tall rainforest build with about 2 inches of coconut shrub between the pool and the heater placed on the bottom of the glass. I guess if you put this under or close to a spot light it could melt it enough to where it would leak... but seeing this is made out of plastic not resistant to high heat, not sure why you would buy it for that purpose.

I ordered this for a gecko cage, partly for decoration and partly to help keep the humidity high. It is adorable up close but I wasn't expecting there to be two sizable holes in the base, big enough to let a small or baby gecko get underneath and hide. I had my hubby sand down the edges of the holes on the inside because there were a few sharp edges, so now it is safer, but I'm still going to put this into a larger geckos cage. It is heavy and sturdy enough that a gecko won't be able to tip it over, and not deep enough for even a baby to drown itself in. So overall I would recommend this item for gecko keepers, just make sure to check the inside edges of the holes in the base, and sand down if needed.

This was such a beautiful addition to my snake's tank plus she loves to hide under it, i often find her sleeping under it.just a warning for those who want to use it as a water dish, it has a lot of nooks and crannies, so when your in-depth cleaning something like a tooth brush is needed.otherwise this thing has done great!

Pros: I like the natural looking design. It is small but not so small as not to be useful. I like that it has a hiding place for tiny creatures under the bowl area so it gives the creatures more useful space. I use it for African Dwarf Frogs.Con: Just one... It has some sharp edges that needed to be sanded down before using.

This was terrible. Opened it and threw away packaging only to find out when we finally used it, it was leaking!

This item looks great. I seen reviews that they did not hold water due to a hole. Mine holds water and came perfect. Fantastic prop.

This looks beautiful in cage. A little big for 10 gallon if you need 3 hides for a gecko. Also I’m giving it a 4 star because there is two holes in the side. My fat tail hid under there and got stuck. But a smaller guy might not.
