Arrived on time. Looks as expected. Haven't used yet.

These are very easy to use and we recommend them. Traps all the bugs and debris from the pool into the sock. You can even hose down the sock and use it again and again until it rips. One sock typically lasts 8 weeks.

The work well. The fit my skimmer basket. I usually get about 2 or 3 weeks usage out of 1 sock. The do catch the finer particles that would get into my cartridge filter.

So far so good, works as advertised. It was easy to install and captured a lot of dog hair and other fine debris. There was no noticeable affect on water flow that I could tell based on pressure in my DE filter. I did use a small rock to weight the center down that created a small cone which all the debris was captured in. I'm not sure you need to do that but I read that some people had problems with stuff floating back into the pool and it seemed like a good idea. This actually worked well because all the debris was caught at the bottom of the sock in the cone and would have made it easy to clean and reuse if you really wanted to take the time to do that. I used this one for about 4 weeks and did not see any noticeable degradation in the material so it could have definitely been re-used; for how long?, I'm not sure so I just replaced it. So I would say they work as advertised I would definitely buy them again in a year or so after I run out.

These babies catch all the fine stuff so you don't have to backwash your filter media as often. My water is crystal clear and I've backwashed only twice in almost 3 months.NOTE - if your pool is not enclosed/screened in, you'll need to hose off the sock once or twice a day, especially if you have a lot of insects divebombing your pool. So I wouldn't use it if you're going on vacation and nobody is around to clean the basket.

Great item, excellent price, quality product! Can't say enough for a sock. Works perfectly and each sock lasts for several weeks (if cleaned regularly). Has cut down on my filter issues 100%. Grabs anything and everything that used to sneak past my skimmer basket. Easy to cover my turbo skimmer upgrade and has not impaired my in-ground pool pump whatsoever. Excellent product!

Had never used these before, but decided to give them a try. Now I love just tossing it with all the bugs inside a way and not having to dump my basket and then spray it out. Saves me time
