First off, let me say I am holding off on giving these 5 stars only because I just got them yesterday, and I want to see how durable they are. So now, to explain. I did not buy these as "water shoes." I bought them because I am diabetic, & have to be careful of my feet. I work from home a lot & my computer is in my basement, so before I was always wearing slippers to protect the soles of my feet. But they get hot in the summer. So I saw these and figured I'd give them a try.UPDATE: So its been a few months & I am no longer wearing these on a regular basis (because the weather has gotten cooler & I switched back to my slippers.) But I can report I have seen NO noticeable wear on these. And I have worn them out a few times when I had to make a quick run to the convenience store during my workday. So I'd say, based on that, they are worthy of 5 stars. Will change my rating accordingly.First of all, they are REALLY lightweight, which is what I wanted. The soles are thick enough to provide protection, but not so thick they would be heavy. After I put them on they fit quite nicely. I normally wear a Men's 12 shoe & I got the men's size 11-12. Not overly tight, not loose … just snug. And they are comfy ! Barely feels like you have anything on, which is what I wanted. So now I am in my basement, on my computer, my feet are comfy, and most important safe. My only concern is, while they get quickly scuffed up & worn on the cement floor. So I will edit this review after some real life tests. But so far, we are very happy !

I bought these for my grandson for Christmas for a snorkeling trip he was taking in March. Unfortunately I didn’t inspect them until he went to use them (and too late to return). Both shoes were coming apart at the seams. The fit was good and they seemed like they’d be comfortable, but quality was horrible!! Maybe a different pair would have been better, but these ones ended up having to be thrown in the garbage.

I swim in the ocean, whenever I get the chance. One of the pitfalls of that is unknown objects at the bottom. Between jagged rocks, urchins, broken glass, etc., you never know what your feet might come in contact with. Never mind all the stuff on the beach. I ALWAYS wear water shoes (or flippers). This is the FIRST time I have had a pair of water shoes that actually fit my size 13 feet comfortably! The design of these shoes is so simple, and so correct, they are like your favorite slippers! Now, for protection, the soles are nice and thick, covering the entire bottom of my foot. The tops are thick, stretchy, strong knit material. I feel like my feet are very well protected. I know my feet are very comfortable. Very happy with this purchase. Five stars!

The shoes is nice, fits well, is slip resistant, but did not do well walking in water! I used it for water walking in a swimming pool, and every time, the insole would slide out the back of my shoe! I tried drying them separate, drying them together, drying them face down, to no avail. Then the other shoe started the same behavior! What took the cake is when the insole grip line came off! Less than 1 star performance!

I bought 2 pairs of these shoes. The first pair were too small, and since I accidentally scuffed them up some, could not return them, so gave them away. My shoe size is 101/2 - 11, and my first pair was for sizes 9-101/2. That was a mistake. The second pair was for sizes 101/2 - 12. This pair seems to fit okay. They seem to be nice shoes, but beware of their listed sizes before ordering them. I believe they run a bit on the small size.

These shoes run big and wide. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8. I got the 7.5 to 8.5 and they are a little too long and really wide in the front. I have a narrow/medium foot but I'm a true 7.5 in most shoes or an 8 in flat shoes. there is a lot of room in the heel area. I haven't worn these yet and I'm guessing they will be fine since they are really stretchy

Bought these (three different pairs from same seller) for a trip to Maine, and they were perfect! My kids and I wore these to a sand beach with big waves, and rocky, seaweed-covered beaches along the coast. These shoes were AWESOME for both, but I was really impressed with how the grippy soles performed scrambling over the rocks and cliffs. We saw nearly identical shoes in local stores for 3x the price. Great purchase.

I bought these as camp shoes for ultralight backpacking. I have yet to get out on to camp but these shoes haven't left my feet when home. I have cold floors so much so usually wear socks at home in all but the warmest days. I find these shoes much more comfortable than socks and are a very natural “barely there” feeling. I am looking forward to getting out camping but these shoes are already a home run in my book. I am a 10.5 and I bought the recommended size (didn’t size up) and am glad I did, I wouldn’t want a looser fit.

Although I returned these pair, the last pair were great. Just make sure they fit a little snug or they float off your feet
