5 stars
This was an amazing book and I was very excited to read it! Though I really want a book on a regular day in the life of Freya after this book. I think that would be amazing 🧝🏻♀️I like light elves even if they aren’t featured much.

Great series!
This series is great for anyone who loves Norse mythology. The characters are well rounded and the story flows so well. It has a great conclusion to the war

Ultimo

Really good read
Valkyrie War of the Realms: Book 3 is a fantastic story. It follows on straight after Darius has betrayed Odin and Asgard whilst Loki and the other Asgardians (including Thor and Freya) are stuck on Mitgard (Earth) because Bifrost has been sealed. It is a race against time to see who can use the secret tunnels in Yydrasil (The Great Cosmic Tree) to get to Asgard first and for Freya along with her twin Kia defeat is just not an option. They travel through different realms and face foe's they have only seen at a distance before but using all of their skills they must overcome all of these to save the world they love along with every other world. Once again Kate O'Hearn brilliantly unfolds this story and kept me turning page after page until I had absorbed it all. A must have for any Valkyrie fan!

WOW - what a finale
WOW! The first book was exciting. The second book was thrilling. Now this final and third book should come with a warning that there will be jaw-drops, heart break, stomach punches and the occasional chuckle. Sooo much happens and it truly is an epic finale that befits and honours all the adventures Freya had before the impeding danger of Ragnarok.I really enjoyed following the adventures of not just Freya but also so many other characters.Kate has become a master of working with Norse Mythology in all aspects and characters. She has kept the traditional essence but given it new energy and created a superb set of stories that are enjoyable for all ages from the first line to the last.I will honestly miss this norse fantasy world and its fantastic characters.

Love the book
This book is amazing and I only ordered it for myself so I don’t have to keep checking it out of the library. If you like this book I also recommend reading the Pegasus series by the same author

Really good suspenseful and on the edge of my seat read
Really good suspenseful and on the edge of my seat read, plenty of dramatic situations, both happy, heartbreaking and rather fiercely satisfying - i.e. where the Dark Elf got her just deserts! Horrible creature, threatening to eat the raven Orus! UGH!! Wonderful ending - everything peaceful and hopeful, without being in the least bit boring. I quite undertand the ancient Chinese curse 'May you live in interesting times' A very polite way of saying 'I hope your life is thoroughly unsettling' because interesting times are definitely NOT peaceful to live in! Personally, I would like very much to have a lovely, boring peaceful life where the most exciting outing I took would be to the Library once a week.
