10 Organic Madagascar Whole Grade A Vanilla Pods for Vanilla Extract and Baking

I cook from scratch often and use a lot of vanilla bean paste, so I wanted to try making my own. These vanilla pods arrived well packaged and in excellent condition. The color was a rich, moist brown with no signs of dryness or mold. They felt fresh and pliable, which was reassuring. The pods were a bit firm to cut with a standard kitchen knife and required a little extra pressure, but once opened they worked perfectly. I was able to make a full mason jar of homemade vanilla paste, and the results were very impressive. The aroma was strong and the flavor was rich and smooth. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. The quality exceeded my expectations and the quantity makes it a great value for the money. I chose the Grade A beans pods for the best quality. The smell is phenomenal, the beans are plush, moist and plyable. Full of vanilla bean seeds and worth the cost. They are not cheap but, reasonable considering the item. I'll definitely be buying more! I recommend this product.

Beautiful and flavorful beans! Have used these directly in cake batter and vanilla cake icing and they are delicious! Also used them in making our own vanilla extract by adding pure grain alcohol to 6-8 full beans and wait about 6 months. Very fragrant and delicious vanilla flavor!
