FLAME&SHADE9 ft Solar Powered Outdoor Market Patio Table Umbrella with LED Lights and Tilt

Bought two umbrellas and both faded from their original vibrant red to a pale old looking umbrella in 6 weeks. If you want something that'll look like you picked it out of your neighbors trash can this is the one for you. Sent a note to the Flame&Shade Customer Service Team and this was their response:The 250gsm Polyester fabric used by FLAME&SHADE passes Grade 4 light fastness or fade resistance testing standards, this is an above average rating for Polyester fabrics. This does not mean it is fade proof.It is quite normal for any fabric to fade when used in an outdoor situation, especially when exposed to intense sunlight conditions. The amount and strength of the sun will determine the rate at which the fabric fades.The fade which you have experienced will not affect the serviceability of the fabric for some time and your umbrella will continue to provide protection from the sun.We always recommend that umbrellas be closed when not in use, and we also suggest the umbrella is afforded further protection from the harsh outdoor elements by using a storage cover over the umbrella when it is not being used and storing it inside through the winter months.We are sorry that you have been inconvenienced and hope the above information will assist you to understand that the fading you have encountered is quite normal and is not covered under warranty.

Finally got a base so i could put up the umbrella! While waiting, i Left the umbrella in the sun to charge. Last night we tried it out. Love the lights. They are on the warm side rather than like a flourescent. The material seems very durable. It was up during a sudden rain storm. The rain beaded off and did not penetrate inside of umbrella. Have not used the tilt option yet. Strap to hold in down position is handy. Picky: needed to cut some loose threads. Cant beat the price. The navy color is a true navy. Not so dark that it looks black. Would have preferred a medium blue but that color seems non-existent - - or at least where i have looked!

The umbrella is beautiful blue color easy to assemble blocks the sun perfect. We let it charge up for two days before trying the lights and one row doesn't work. The company emailed me to see how i was enjoying my purchase and if I had any questions to reach out to them. So i did. I responded to that email letting them know that a row of lights was out and if there was something I could do to fix on my own, no response it has been a week. I'm keeping the umbrella because it is a hassle to return and wait for another one, I just wish the company would have emailed me back with what I should do.

Right now, I am still trying to discover how to use it. It is much heavier than I thought it would be. The lights worked when it first got here, but they do not work now. However, I turned the switch off and will charge it for 8 hours and try to see if it will light tonight. I like the crank and it works very well to put the umbrella up and down. I have a BIG problem , there is a string at the top and it is VERY very tight. I don't know if its ok to untie the knot , I do not know if it is for the ventilation at the top or not. The instructions have a lot to be desired, they are too small to figure out.

Purchased the 9 ft umbrella in tan color. Arrived on time per Prime shipping guidelines. Packaged very well.No issues. Assembly is very easy with good instructions which are easy to follow.Umbrella was easy to open and looks very nice. The LED lighting on the underside umbrella ribs radiate a soft light. Controls are easy to reach and use. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. It is a quality made umbrella. Had a question for customer service. Emailed them and their response was very quick and answered my question completely.

This umbrella and its little lights are so adorable! The quality may not be 40 year lasting pleather material of the 70's, but it was just as good, if not better than the one it replaced! I can tell it will last a long time if taken down prior to rain and snow. I LOVE IT and would not hesitate to re-purchase if needed. :)

Easy to set up. Lights were brighter than expected. We use umbrellas by our pool a lot. Ours blew out of the stand and into the pool on the first full day. Some umbrellas design causes this and it seems to be the case. So as long as there's no breeze (it wasn't that windy) you should be ok. After landing, the lights don't charge and it's just a blue umbrella.

Umbrella well built and seems to be pretty sturdy. Generously sized and provides great coverage in my south facing patio. Love the solar lights at night. Got mine in blue which is very pretty, I have a blue/ Greek themed patio. Fabric seems thick. Hopefully will last many summers!
