Bleach
I use this for exit site care. Of course it works, it's bleach. It will stain clothing so be careful. The only difference between alclavis and exsept is chlorine in the alclavis. They are both bleach though.

You need this in your first aid kit!
I used ExSept for years when I worked in a Pediatric Dialysis unit. This stuff can just about cure a rainy day! It certainly kept me from getting an infection after recent surgery on my finger! Glad it's now available over the counter.

Great antiseptic for peritoneal dialysis exit wound care
I have been using a larger size of this product for several years for peritoneal catheter exit wound care. Product is a clear liquid and never causes any pain. I use daily after bathing. Results have been very good and I have never developed an infection. Caution to keep an eye on the expiration date and ever use after.
