I have one petalite crystal so I wasn't sure what this would be like. It's pale pink, kind of crumbly and not crystals. Actually I did get one piece with a nice crystal in it but the majority of the petalite is tiny minuscule crystals mixed in with matrix(?). When you get it wet some of the crumbly dust comes off and you can see more of the tiny sparkles. I'm not sure what good quality raw petalite looks like but I'm happy with this after rinsing it off. It's somewhat fragile but a pretty pale pink color (which looks brighter like the photo only when wet) and a unique type of stone to add to my collection. Service was very good; order was shipped quickly via Priority Mail. The rocks are not as gemmy as shown in the picture, but the size is about the same and the pink color is nice.

I ordered one pound and received 3 stones--one weighed 8.6 ounces, the second weighed almost 7 ounces and the third was a very small piece. I expected smaller 1-2 inch sized pieces like I have gotten with all of the other hypnotic gems purchases I have made.

This is an amazing stone, anyone looking for a high vibration crystal would be very happy with this.
