My wife and I purchased the Winterhalder edition in 1990. It has functioned absolutely perfectly for 25 years. It has become the most treasured piece of furniture in our home. We would not part with it for the world. The chimes sound so soothing, and we have become so used to them that we don't even notice them except for those few times that I forgot to wind the clock and we then noticed the silence. You can't go wrong with this purchase!
