Works fine on quad aches and cramps. Priced less than similarly made pain relievers, I feel the salacylic part is a great addition. The aroma is fine with me. As far as the "leakage" comments, any oil based compound will creep or wick up the inside of it's container, past the threaded cap and down the outside.
