Great and sharp.
I purchased these because I had an interesting dilemma I was trying to solve.I was needing to remove some small pieces of lumber inside the walls of my RV. I did not want to have to take the outside skin off the RV. And had to remove the inside wall to replace some damage. But I cannot use assault without damaging the aluminum outside. This neat little product was so small I was able to slip it behind the wood in between the aluminum and cut the boards out of place. They're very sharp and cut through pieces of wood very quickly making quick work of my project.Other uses I will use these for are. I will keep using my RV or cutting wood if ever needed. Also are great on any kind of hiking trips, and might be important even keep one in your vehicle if it's allowed in your area. For emergencies this is something you could really use to cut something made out of wood. Or even help you build a small fire.

They have not broken
The saw seems to be adorable and well made. It is not easy to use and does require practice before needing to rely on it in an emergency. It can be a useful piece of kit.

Not just for sawing wood
I'll start by saying I bought these Drchoer 3X Wire Saw Stainless Steel Pocket Chainsaws for what might be described as a rather different use.I'm insulating the exterior walls of my off-grid cabin with closed cell spray foam insulation to get maximum R value. My 18 inch closed cell foam trimmer is too large to get into a few tight spaces so I had to come up with some way to trim the foam where my trimmer won't fit. After a little head scratching, I came upon these mini cable saws and the light came on. I fashioned several different sized jigs using these wire saws highly tensioned between two steel rods. They worked perfectly, allowing me to trim in tight places. My problem was solved and the project is finished.Note that the wire saws did come with blue handles as shown in the seller's images. I removed them to make my foam saws.

Decent Self Defense
I dunno about using it as an actual saw but it's a decent Self Defense weapon in a compact package. I carry mine in an Altoids case when I'm in foreign countries where I can't carry a knife on me. May not be quite as handy but could do some damage in a pinch!

I’m a little wary of the plastic in the handles
I got these to cut out a couple of dead trunks in the middle of a big crape myrtle cluster where I couldn’t fit my bow saw. I could get the cut started easily, but as I got into the trunk it became apparent that my right arm in considerably stronger than my left arm, and I could pull the saw through one way but not the other. I tried reversing the saw but had the same experience, so it’s my arm strength, not anything to do with the saw. I was very wary of the plastic in the handles, though. I didn’t have any handle breakage, but the plastic is a hard type plastic. I didn’t have confidence that it wouldn’t break if I really jerked it with my whole body and was afraid that if it broke I would injure my fingers.

These seem nice
I have only used one once, and I have some concerns with longevity and durability of the handles.... they seem pretty light duty. I suppose of I'm careful, they will last.... then seem nice - will take some time to determine for sure. but the price is nice.

Light weight
These are very light weight, but I understand why they sell them in sets of three. The handles break, and you can not bear down on them because the clamp holding the tool together let’s go. In light weight backpacking situations I do not think I would take this item with me. Trust issues.

Bad for use.
Not able to cut the wood at all. Will be stuck in the wood.

Waste of money!
Absolute trash! Get stuck after about 10 seconds and have broken two out of three already. Doubt they’d cut through a banana!
