Works very well must use clean corn , the twigs get stuck in the motor and keeps it from working. Most of these units are the same with needing clean corn.

I can not get this feeder to dispense my fish feed pellets. I’ve tried changing batteries. All it does is make a humming sound but nothing dispenses. The pellets are not too big because I made sure. It just isn’t strong enough. My other feeder identical to this does the exact same thing. I wasted $179 each and they don’t do what they are supposed to do. Very frustrating!!!

We have two of these on our property. One for the past 3 seasons and the other for the past 2. We have never had an issue. Using a 6 VOLT, 5 AMP battery is a NECESSITY. Spin plate WILL NOT work properly with 4.5 AMP battery. I deducted a star because I had to spend another $22 per feeder to purchase the Moultrie leg brackets that provide a wider and more secure footprint. The brackets that are included give the feeder a really narrow stance.

We vacationed in FL from New England for a full month in our new RV this year, but felt awful about leaving our feathered friends without food in the winter. We bought this feeder just before we left, and couldn't be happier. We filled it with 50+ lbs of sunflower hearts, anchored the feet with cinder blocks and rebar to withstand the wind and set the timer for 2x per day. Upon our return the feeder was just about empty, but clearly did its job. We've refilled and adjusted the timer for spring feeding, but LOVE it ! The batteries we put in in January are still working in April, despite the cold. The directional feeding is great, since we have hawks in the area and prefer to keep the seed under the tree canopy. The sprayer doesn't spray far, but the birds and squirrels could care less. I highly recommend for this purpose. Would def buy again.

We ordered this back in July and it has only worked on its own once. Every time it’s done anything it has been empty and on test mode. You set the program for the number of feeds and how long to spin the motor for, leave, come back and no food has been thrown, none missing from feeder. Called customer support to try to warranty the item. They wanted us to jump through hoops we’ve been jumping through since the first time we noticed it wasn’t working. Do you have the right battery? Yes we had the correct battery. Did you read the instructions when setting up? Yes, read them every time I mess with the thing. Your product is subpar at best, lazy at worst. You did not design this product with the weight of the food bearing down on the spin plate in mind. I can pinch the middle post between two fingers and it doesn’t even twitch. If I could give this negative 10 stars I would. You do not stand behind your product, you do not support your customers. Products like this make Amazon look bad

Easy to follow directions - went together quickly. Everything was in the box that should have been. The unit does NOT have a battery - I chose the optional Moultrie battery to be sure it fit. Purchased optional solar charger.Throws the game fish pellet I use just fine. Length of throw is about 15 feet.Update after about a month - very satisfied with the feeder - the solar charger works great, and the battery holds the charge. Been through about 25 pounds of floating fish feed, and it is working fine. Would recommend this easy-to-use feeder.

We purchased this to automatically feed our fish. We had hoped to be able to set it up and feed the fish daily. It has only worked for about three days without us having to make adjustments. We purchased 2 of their 6 volt batteries, their solar charger, and their battery charger. We still end up hand feeding the fish multiple times each week and cannot trust the feeder to actually work.
