Good smooth flavor when coldbrewed
First off, beans were very well prepped and packed for shipping. It was a nice tight bundle so that the beans didn't rub themselves into powder while in transit.Next, they smelled very fresh when I opened the bag. Not like a lot of beans where they smell slightly stale by the time you open them up.On a side note, if you're just brewing a cup or pot at a time, I love the way this bag reseals. None of this fold over and use a wire mess, this bag seals back up with a zip-top. Nicely done.Of course, we didn't use that feature - we made a batch of coldbrew and used the whole bag at once. After impatiently waiting a day for the beans to steep, we finally got to sample the flavor.I'm not going to wax poetic about what it tasted like, suffice it to say that the flavor profile listed on the bag is accurate. If it sounds like something you like, go for it - we certainly like it! What I will say is that there was no burnt flavor, and (at least partially due to being coldbrewed) it was very low acid.So this has been a very roundabout way of saying that we'll defiantly be ordering more beans from Coffee Bros!

Fresh Coffee
The medium roast blend gives off what I would describe as a bright mocha taste. The Ethiopian's brightness shines through the blend, however when mixed with the Brazil, it gives a unique cocoa taste, but not too sweet. This is a true medium roast, not one of those medium roast that looks exactly like dark roasts. When the beans came they smelled fresh. Overall it was a pleasant change to my morning routine to have a unique tasting coffee that tastes much fresher than anything I have ever received from Amazon. The only negative was the pull-tab on my bag ripped and so I couldn't take advantage of the resealable bag. Luckily I use a vacuum container to store my beans anyway, so it didn't affect me.

Better than Starbucks good for the soul
Our office was quite excited to try this new coffee, with it's unique blend of hazelnut, brown sugar, and red fruit notes. When this coffee is being brewed, you can immediately smell the delightful aromas wafting throughout the room as soon as you walk in the door, giving you a smile on your face and a great start to your day. In addition to the mouth-watering taste, this coffee is packaged in a nicely-designed bag with images of the notes you should expect to taste depicted on the side panels. With the high quality and freshness of the coffee beans, our office was excited to try another blend from Coffee Bros, and was delighted to find a promotion on the back of the bag for a chance to do so - FOR FREE! The Medium Roast was a hit, and we cannot wait to fuel our work days with more of this delicious coffee.

Very Nice - Tried almost all Roasts
Thus far I've tried Light, Medium, Dark, Espresso Blends, and the Tanzaniana and Costa Rican single origin. The flavor desciptions on the packaging seem very reliable, but I'm not an expert.Brewed in a Chemex:Medium Roast - has been my favorite, tastes like jam, cooked fruit, raisins, wine. IMOLight Roast, Costa Rican, and Tanzanian are my runner ups. They generally taste more like fresh fruit, tart berries, green apple, or citrus. IMOI've enjoyed them all. I have access to a lot of local roasters in Chicago, but I'll likely continue to buy from here as long as I can get fresh product. Thus far, everything I've received has been between 7 to 20 days from the roast date. I don't know what their roast frequency is, so I'm not sure if there is anything that can be done to ensure I get the freshest stuff possible.Very Good Stuff. Thanks.

Best coffee you will find on Amazon!
I have been buying fresh roasted coffee locally for some time, but recently have been broadening my horizons by trying beans from any roaster that will stamp the roast date. The roast date matters, people!!! I recently became obsessed with cold brew. Just out of curiosity, I searched cold brew on amazon and Coffee Bros Roastery popped up in my search (I didn't try the cold brew, but went with the medium). My favorite coffee is typically light roast (Ethiopia), so I thought I'd try the medium as it is Brazil and Ethiopia. I was not disappointed!! AND...The roast date was 2 weeks ago!! I have had a cup of cold brew, and a cup of hot from my Aeropress, and both ways were delicious. Try this coffee! You will not be disappointed!

Sooo goood after sooo looong
I committed the ultimate sin with this bean. I forgot about it. I was researching espresso/coffee machines. I settled on one and made the purchase. Bought this coffee (after much review) along with an "espresso" bean.Problem was, I was also experimenting with "loose leaf" tea (black tea: earl grey and the lot), and I loved it. I had completely forgotten about the coffee. Many months later...My wife asked me to make some coffee...OMG...I had never tried the coffee I had bought.Pulled my Encore up front, loaded 60g of beans, and heated up 28oz of water. Steeped for 3 minutes and it was the best cup of coffee ever. Velvety, creamy, nutty, almost chocolatey. Sooo good. The point is this bean was SOOO good after being stored for months.BUY IT!!!

A Consistent and Tasty Everyday Coffee.
This is a solid and tasty everyday coffee. I manually grind for pour overs and found while some of the berry flavors are hard to find, the chocolate comes through and gives a very nice finish to the cup. Not a complicated coffee by any means but a consistent brew is sometimes more important, at least to me. Glad to see Coffee Bros on Amazon and glad they are working to provide fresh as possible beans on this platform.

Fruity, tasty and delicious
First presentation is awesome alone. The bag is beautiful and the resealable package is great to seal in freshness. We have had this coffee now for the last few days and it has grown on us tremendously. The first time we tried we tasted the fruitiness and thought, would be great for dessert. Now, we taste more notes and are enjoying it as our daily morning coffee! Thank you for a great cup!
