Very good value for the money.
Atlantic furniture first caught my eye because they were selling hardwood beds at a price that couldn't be beat. I did a little looking and I believe this is because they are using rubber wood construction. If you don't know what rubber wood is (like me) it is apparently wood from a tree that grows very quickly and is thus consider more environmentally friendly than other typical hardwoods like oak. I can't say much more about the wood itself other than it certainly isn't as strong as oak. It seems like it may dent or scratch more easily. That said, it is still a hardwood bed and preferable to mdf board kits. The joints and connections are made with thick dowel guides and standard allen wrench connector bolts with cross dowel nuts. They seem to hold together well. The dowels are thick enough to support the body weight and not stress the bolt joints. I would have been nice if these were metal instead of wood or for them to use something more like a teeth joint but they are solid and sufficient for a twin bed.The finish is beautiful - got the antique walnut. The drawers slide well, even on carpet. It comes with a standard wood slat system that I think was made by a third party. I would highly suggest getting a steel Bunkie board to go with the bed. We started with a 9" box spring and it was far too high because of how high the bed must sit to fit the drawers under it - higher than the bed in our bed room.Only a couple of gripes about the set:1. The guide holes for the drawers were not drilled well at all. I had to use some significant force to get these to line up. I didn't want to redrill and a) screw it up, or b) void a warranty. I was pretty disappointed in this but I eventually found the right combo of side boards to front and back ones that allowed me to get both together. Once assembled, I am sure these will be solid and I will never think about it again.2. The bottom part of the headboard is wide open. There is not even a cross bar here. I am sure it is sturdy but it is clear they expect you to have the headboard pushed against a wall and that was not the case for one of them we purchased. As a result, you can see under the bed (and kids can crawl there) and you can also see the unstained wood on the side of one of the drawers. It would have been nice to have the sides and back of the drawers stained but I am thinking this would've raised the price of the item a bit. You could try to match the stain or hang a sheet. An aesthetic oversight. All in all very pleased. A great value at the price point and has the benefit of also being a more sustainably produced product than oak or pine construction.

WONDERFULLY made, VERY durable wood, nicely finished, EASY assembly, AMAZING space saving drawers!
I'd never experienced rubber wood before, but it is very hard and takes a beautiful finish. The bed was surprisingly easy to assemble with everything needed and even extra fasteners. it's very sturdy and they seem to have made improvements in the design since the photo. None of the screws now show. I got the extra two drawers and the four of them have storage equivalent to a very large tall dresser. I would say this bed is an amazing value from every point of view, and especially as a space saver. The drawer bottoms are the only wood that isn't rubber wood, and they are thin and not made to take a lot of weight, so if you wanted to store something like books in them, you could add extra support under them, but they are fine for quilts, blankets, clothes, and such. I plan to store those items mentioned plus out of season clothes in them. They glide very nicely on wheels. I've always been a solid hardwood enthusiast and I am very impressed with this bed from multiple points of view. In the past, I had twin beds. One had springs and the other I instead built a wooden box to replace springs, and I actually preferred the one with the wood under the mattress. You can use a springs on this one, but I'd say try it without. I find it more comfortable. This bed is much easier to make than one with a higher foot board.

Worst quality ever/ De pésima calidad
(Spanish below) The worst quality ever. Some of the parts came dented and broken. There were patches all over. The paint was horrible; there were yellowish spots and ripples were visible. There is an open space of about an inch or inch and a half between the drawer and the bed, everything you’ll put inside it could be visible. As if this were not enough, the front part of the bed is nothing similar to the one they advertise. It is definitely a SCAM!La peor calidad que pudiera haber imaginado.
