Weaver Leather Poly Roper Reins

Very comfortable, nice grip. A variety of colors to choose from. For us, a bit too short. They end a few inches into my QH mares mane. I ended up ordering the longer set, unfortunately, without the choice of colors.

They are a standard soft braided nylon lead line-type rein with a leather "whip" end and very nice snap buckle attachment for hooking to the bit. A great fit for my mini gelding, who is a large mini but far too small for pony equipment. The young man that is training him, a young teen, has "0" complaints, nor do I. Good purchase, good value. Decent shipping time after purchase.

The length is great for the horse. I purchased these to put around the horn to keep his head up so he can't graze while riding. It is easier on my arms to not be pulling his sneaky head up and he knows to "test" first, if there is resistance he doesn't even try to eat. They attach nicely to the side pull we use.

These reins are the perfect length, and I don't have to worry about conditioning them or worry if they get wet. Also love that there's a clip on either side. Very handy for using as a lead line. Plus, we are now super stylish. Nothing like a stocky paint mare with a dressage saddle, bitless bridle, and roper reins lol:)

As expected. They are pretty thin, but measure as they advertise. I seem to want what isn’t available, a little bit shorter but also a little bit thicker. But these work well for what I’m doing. I like that they have clips on both ends and I can just clip it to the side hooks on a standard halter.

These are exactly as described. Simple Weaver reins, they have great color. They're very lightweight. They're obviously not as nice as yacht rope reins or any other of the nicer/pricier reins you can get, but if you just need something simple and easy these are perfect for that.

I ordered these reins because my horse stepped on the leather ones I've used for years and broke them and I never got around to getting them repaired. I originally wanted to replace the leather reins with new leather reins but, apparently, two long strips of plain old leather is extremely expensive. As a result, I ended up buying these - and they are incredible. I love the color purple so I ordered the purple ones and they are absolutely perfect. They color is bold and the reins are thinner than I expected them to be so they're easier to hold. I love the attachment clips - I can easily switch them from my western bridle to a halter if I don't feel like going through the effort of tacking up for a short little bareback ride.

My daughter was Absolutely delighted with the item she received! Surprised me with the softness of the rope. She is using the rope for when she bareback rides her horse. She also was happy to find that the rope could be stretched and retained back to the original size. Used these to ride bitless in a rope halter. Excellent product -feels good in the hands. They were heavier than expected but this proved to be an advantage as my pony was very responsive to the slightest touch on the reins. Very easy to attach to the halter but secure at the same time. Non slip when wet.

Very nice bright colors. But, the rope is very light weight, lighter than even my lead rope. Personally, it does not work for me. I am used to nice thin leather reins, I like something you can feel you're holding. Also the length is too short for my liking - 8'. Could be good for little trail rides on on even smaller ponies... It's up to you if you like this feather light weight. The clips and leathers are nice. Could easily reuse on heftier rope ;)

Beautiful and great quality. Just not long enough to allow my 15.2 hand high paint to stretch out her neck out while trail ridding without me having to stretch out my arm uncomfortably far out. Would deff recommend 10 ft or more if ur looking for a longer rein
