TecNec DMX-3XM-CAT5 3 Pin XLR Male to RJ45 Adapter

What a pleasure to be able to run analog audio over inexpensive CAT5 cable in a difficult permanent installation in a church. These TecNec male and female XLR to Cat5 adapters worked perfectly to send audio from a mixer to an FM transmitter (for hearing impaired folks) located a fair distance away. We were already pulling CAT5 wires for video and LAN, so adding one more to the bundle was easy. Not having to solder anything on either end was great, and being able to use less expensive cable was a bonus.

Needed female; however, good quality

Using these adapters for DMX connections makes life *SO* much easier. Pulling ethernet cable through the grid is a LOT easier than regular DMX cable (though you have to be careful with the clips on the ends). And you don't have to worry about pulling a regular DMX cable backwards (like we all haven't done it at least once).

This has to be one of the most BRILLIANT pieces of equipment invented in the last decade!!! Makes your cabling so much neater because you now can quickly use custom lengths and therefore eliminate excess wires bunched up behind equipment.
