Not for adult bikes
These are not long enough for any of the ten very different bicycles we have in our family. This might work for a child’s very small bike. But not for an adult bike. Even my 8 year-old daughter’s 24” mountain bike was too big for these. Maybe if your kid’s bike still has training wheels these would work?

Too Short for Electra Townie
About to take Electra Townie 7D for this weekend bike. But It's too short. It doesn't fit Electra Townie. It's ruining the weekend. Now I have to return and buy Allen Sports Tube Adapter instead. Ironically I returned Allen Sports to buy these since it looks simple. But now I'll have to rebuy. What a waste of time.

Does not fit an adult bike!
This is the biggest rip off ever. The bars, even fully extended, don’t fit an adult small size women’s bike. I kept one for my child size bike (9 year old boy size) but had to send the rest back. I knew the deal was too good to be true!After receiving them, I reached out to customer service per the instructions that said they would get back to me within 24 hours. Well 5 days later I initiated my return.Do not recommend!

Not for adult bikes
Didn’t look at the reviews before purchasing. Chose it because it was the same brand as the bike rack we bought.We liked the cross-bar for ease of use, but this will NOT fit an adult bike. (Our space measured 22.5”) it is an inch too short from being able to hook the handlebars to the frame.Three stars because we decided to keep them for our kids bikes.

Fits, works well, easy to operate
The bar is very easy to use and secures the bike to the bike rack very well. The bar does attach well to the bike such that it will not come and this feature is easy to put on and off. The length is adjustable but it just fits the bike. It is almost too long at it's shortest position. But it does fit the bike and I like it very much.

Basic, but works
A decent alternative to the more expensive Yakima or Thule brands. You have to watch where you hold this bar when you expand/contract this bar as you can easily pinch your palm - which hurts quite a bit! Locking mechanism on the head tube side is a bit basic, but works.

Limited extension
Very easy to use. My major problem was that it doesn't quite fit my women's Trek hybrid cruiser. I had to hook it onto the telescoping seat post and it is stretched to the max. But! It served its purpose. If I decide to start transporting my bike more frequently I will invest in a different cross bar.
