The Boxcar Children Mysteries Boxed Set 13-16

My daughter (10) really enjoys reading this series with her dad. They can talk about how he read it as a child with his parents. It is also a quick chapter book if your child’s school has reading goals and you are behind and need to catch up.

I read these books when I was young. I wanted to share these stories with my grandsons. They love them as much as I did

I ordered it for a present, and it was as expected. This Boxcar series is a fun book for young kids. It came plastic sealed and no damage.

The entire series of Boxcar Children books is a classic. I read them to my son many years ago and now my grandchildren are reading them. We have purchased 1-16 so far. I wish I had kept the originals many years ago.

I buy these for my granddaughter. She has been reading chapter books since first grade. These are one of her favorite series. She is up to book 20. She normally reads the entire book in a day and a half. She travels a great deal and she reads while on the plane for the duration of the flight. She is a 3rd grader and is comprehending and reading at a 9th grade level. These books are appropriate for an elementary student.

You would think, over time, the books would be less clever (i mean how many mysteries can 4 brothers and sisters get into?) but i read these books almost nightly to my 4 and 8 year old sons... it’s “our time” and even I getEntranced in the stories as i read them as a child too. We’re starting book 14 and no one is tired of it yet! Honestly my biggest problem with this series is that it eventually has to end. I’ll always look back fondly and hope my sons will remember all the nights we read together and pass the box sets down to their own children.
