Yes. I do it everyday. Just use 1 and half cup of water ( use the same cup for rice). Remember to leave the cooked rice in the pot for 10 minutes after you unplug. It helps to moisten the thick crust at the bottom.

This is the uncooked rice measurement (1 cup of uncooked rice = 6 oz). 5 cups of uncooked rice will yield up to 10 cups cooked rice.
