I have a 5' ft tall, 100 Lb 9yr old. Can you imagine how hard it is to find age appropriate clothing for a child of that body size? ITS HARD. So finding this dress was a shot in the dark to see if it would fit. Most on line attempts fail, but this dress is a winner! Its still long on her body, and while it fits like a camisole dress it does not cling like a Lycra dress does. Its breathable, the color is bright and fun, and very comfortable. My daughter loves it and I will absolutely buy more from this company.

My daughter LIVES in these dresses. She's very sensitive to itchy tags & seams, stray threads, waistbands, weird pulling, too tight etc. These dresses are perfect for a girly girl who wants to look cute and be comfortable. We now have 5 of them. This year (pictured) she is 4.5 and is wearing the size 6. She's 80% in height and weight, and the 6 is perfect. She'll wear it next year too but the shorts underneath may show a little, no biggie. 2 years ago she wore the size 4, which she now uses as nightgowns. The material is soft and stretchy. They clean well- the white dress from 2 years ago still looks white! There's no fuss to these dresses. We'll keep buying them as long as they're available. If i had any complaint it would be that they are a tad too short.

My daughter LOVES dresses and this one is amazing. It is so soft and comfortable for her and fits great. She is 6 years old and usually wears a size small (6/6x) but I ordered a size up (7) like the reviews said. I think a 6 would have fit her but that size was sold out anyway in the yellow and the 7 still fits really well. I imagine it will shrink some with frequent washing so I’m glad I got the size up. She’ll be able to grow into it and wear it for a long time. I can’t wait to order her more colors. I see there is a white one and I would love to try tie dying it.

I am a 5'1" woman and I wear this as a nightgown. It is really cute and the cotton is very nice. But it is supposed to be comfortable if you are sensitive to sensory input. It has a tag, instead of a label printed on the cloth. I cut off the tag. The seam under my right arm is irritating, and I found that wearing it inside-out, so the seams are exterior, fixes that. I would have liked to wear it as is, but I still think it is cute. And made in the USA, which is important to me; the 4th star is for that.

My daughter loves these dresses. They are cut so cute and are nicely made. Our three colors were exactly as represented in the images. The fabric is thick enough to be modest but is cool enough for summer weather and she uses them as nighties as well as day dresses. They are as described: 100% cotton and made in the USA which is wonderful. My daughter is a very slender size 10-12 and I got the 12 because our other dresses by City Threads tend to run a little small. These summer dresses fit her like a ballerina's dress now and are super flattering and comfy. But they do not leave much room to grow. Very happy with looks and quality but recommend going up a size.

Very pleased with this dress. My daughter loves it. It's a comfy look and long enough to be considered appropriate in length, esp for the tall girls. It's very casual and can be a pool side over the bathing suit kind of dress or an every day run around and be a kid kinda dress. I'm happy we found it! Will be ordering in more colors!

My daughter was Joy from Inside Out for her dress-up bday party. Her costume was so easy. I took a can of corn and made Starburst around it with a blue sharpie in order to make it into Joy's dress. Turned out so cute and super easy!

Soft, nice quality and vibrant pink color. Ordered a 10 for my 7 year old to grow into but there isn’t much room for her to grow into. She loved it too much to wait for a bigger size so we will enjoy it for as long as we can. Looks super adorable on her.
