Great filter at a good price
The filter fits perfectly with my RO system and seems to be of high quality. The water tastes great and the carbon taste/odor filter is doing it's job.

So far, so good.
Only time will tell. I use this type of filter on my refrigerator's icemaker. The one I had on previously lasted 6 years. So I figured I got my money's worth out of it. So I bought one from Watts. It was advertised as a 5 year filter. After about 4 months, the end blew off and started flooding my kitchen!!!! Luckily I was home at the time. The really bad part was when I called Watts, they claimed my water pressure was too high and that's why it blew. I contacted my water department, and they said that was impossible. They monitor it closely, and nothing was reported on the day this happened. They also said their shut off valves automatically shut off when there is too much pressure. It's designed to do that. So they obviously tried to cover their butts. So I went back to Amazon and read the reviews. I should have read them before I ordered it. Two other people had the same thing happened. So I checked at Amazon again, and came across this Omnipure. I called the company and talked to the technical support team. They assured me that it is tested to withstand a LOT more pressure than I have. The only downside is this one only lasts one year. That's ok. It's worth it if I know it's not going to blow apart and flood my kitchen. So thumbs up - for now. I'll post again if anything goes wrong.

They have changed
Previously I bought this product and it came with the part on the quick connect on the ends. Apparently not any more. I tried several times. So I disconnected the filter from my ice maker. In many, many years I have bought these with the quick connect parts. Apparently they do not come with the quick connect parts now. Unless you know what to do without them - good luck.

Been using for a few years
Have been using these filters for an ice maker and soda machine at my house for the past few years. Easy to change out and install. Great taste and flow rate. We have a large family and I swap out the filter every six months.
