Orly Nail Lacquer, Orlon Base Coat, 0.6 Fluid Ounce

I have about 8 brown nail polishes. Most are too dark, some are too ashy, a couple are a just-right kind of dark chocolate, especially for autumn 🍂 (looking at you, Laura Mercier Bare Espresso ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️). But to do the "mannequin hands" manicure and exactly match my skin tone has taken like a WEEK!! It's like my skintone was flip-flopping between nail color shades, too dark, too light, too yellow, too mauve, too ashy 😭 I looked at sooo many images and finally decided to get the Orly Coffee Break. I put it in the cart, doubted it, removed it, added it, removed it. Then I said wth, I'll just get it and see. It came out to be an excellent match I think! [It is the pic of hand with 4 fingers Essie Save A Cowboy and pinky finger is ORLY Coffee Break!]. Because some of us either have to choose matching our cuticles OR the skin color on our fingers/hands - I am glad this one at least matches my skintone. Because I can't match both exact like I wanted it, at the same time lol I even went so far as to use AI for a blend of my hand skintone + cuticle shade + fingertips redness color - came out with that coral color that's scribbled on the bottom on one of the pics I uploaded. May be a great blouse color or something 🤔 But yeah, I used it again to find my skintone so I could post it here in case the photos do something weird so if you find your hex code or pantone, you can see how well Coffee Break might compare on your skintone. This polish dried immediately with great shine! Now, if I touch it, it's dry. But if I touch nail surface to nail surface, it's still a little sticky inside of slippery. So I'm gonna add a coat of Beetles Clear gel top coat and use the uv lamp for a minute to seal in that Beetles gloss (it bowled me over that you can put GEL TOP COAT on top of REGULAR NAIL POLISH!! Hallelujah!) They coverage is phenomenal - like, two coats is gorgeous. Now I do have a coat of the Essie Save a Cowboy on 4 fingers on one hand and Orly Coffee Break ALONE on that pinky (right hand) and then Orly Coffee Break PAINTED ON TOP OF ESSIE SAVE A COWBOY (!!) on the other (left). I think I like the Coffee Break alone (pinky) and Coffee Break over Save a Cowboy 2nd best. As for the polishes lined up, they are Estee Lauder Pure Color GA Diabolique; Essie Save A Cowboy; OPI Cliffside Karaoke; Orly Coffee Break; Essie Cold Brew Crew; DND Coffee Bean; Laura Mercier Bare Espresso (perfect for toes, any seasoning. Very warm, gives the underside of the toes & foot that warm red look, like your feet are blushing 🤌🏾). Ok I'm going to go play. 😄

I've used this exact polish for years. It looks great, dries well, and lasts a reasonably long time on nails (especially on my toes). The bottle lasts a good while too, but eventually gets thick, so I replace it about once a year. I love this polish and I hope it's around for many years to come. The only possible issue I can think of: If you wear gold jewelry on your hands, it might not match as it's a little bit cooler in tone. But as mentioned, I wear it on my toes, so it goes with everything, including some of my sandals with gold tones.

The color shown for Orly Terra Mauve is WAY off!!! The image looks like a dark/bright purple. Google other images ... it's more of a rosy mauve, a bit on the bright side. I'm not sure my uploaded pic is very accurate, but certainly closer than the listing. Very pretty!

Beautiful deep purple

I must confess, I knew exactly what I was getting into as I read the reviews and photos in the reviews before I purchased it. In fact, I loved the color everyone was getting (Magenta) instead of the actual color that was shown in the listing. I can not give it a good overall rating as the color is clearly NOT as shown. Although Purple Crush is named on the photo on the listing, it is also shown on the nail color sent to me. Clearly, the color shown in the listing is more of a "crayon grape" looking purple color and the one sent is more of a Magenta Color. Clearly, as you can see from my photos, they are not even close in color! Now the 2nd and 3rd photo they use in the listing is closer to the color they sent, but still not the same. I am happy as I got exactly what I wanted (the magenta color), however, there are many people who actually wanted the Grape looking Purple Color as it is listed, instead. The seller should correct the listing to the actual color they are selling. Thanks to all the peeps and their photo reviews, it was most helpful to me when I decided to make the purchase, hopefully mine will help you all too!
