Worked for my need!
This worked perfect for needs. Added a front hitch and put this on in between other attachments for a little extra front protection, and works as a step so can get into engine bay on tall truck. Looks and feels great. Was packaged very well. Didn’t use there tightener/ retainer as didn’t like the look and will use a different device.

Best packed truck accessory I have received in quite a while.
I had purchased a different hitch step and after an hour or so of trying to install I gave up. (I am a bit of a perfectionist.) This model was more expensive than the first one but well worth the price. Upon opening the box I found the step inside of a cloth full length bag. At the ends there were molded cardboard wrapped in stretch plastic. The step was in perfect condition. (No dents, scratches, not even a particle of dust.) It was very easy to install and I liked the included "rattle stop" that screwed into a threaded opening on the step itself and was tightened with a plastic wheel. This setup will make it easier to remove to use for a trailer hitch. The only imperfection I found was a slight wobble which was caused by my hitch on the truck and a very tiny wedge solved the problem. Did I mention that I am a bit of a perfectionist?

The Polished Stainless Steel shines like chrome!
This hitch step is beautiful! I ordered the Polished Stainless Steel to replace the GoRhino Chrome version and I am glad I did. The polished stainless steel is virtually as brilliant as the chrome side steps I have on my truck. There is no noticeable difference between them and that was my biggest concern... the brilliance of shine. Also because I live on the Oregon coast, I know the stainless steel will not rust. Although I don't often use the hitch step to get into the bed of my truck very often. For me, its primary purpose is to protect my bumper from small mishaps backing up and dings because replacing a hitch step is a lot cheaper than replacing a bumper. And it actually worked for me after getting rear ended in bumper-to-bumper traffic and that is why I had to replace it this time. It saved my bumper! I highly recommend spending a few extra bucks to get the Polished Stainless Steel hitch step instead of the Chrome... you won't be disappointed.

Great "hitch step" that serves as a bumper bumper ... but it could be even better
Bought this as a gift for a friend who needed a little extra protection from careless parallel parkers in the city -- folks bump into cars regularly, so he wanted something to protect the bumpers and paint on his VW Golf wagon. First, the hitch step installs in a jiffy -- just slip it into the 2" receiver (which he and I installed last summer) and slide the included lock pin through it and slip the (included) cotter pin through that. Tada! Done. Well ... you could also install the (included) anti-rattle contraption ... but, I'll be honest, it didn't work that well. (I would un wrapping the shank of the hitch with some electrical tape before inserting it into the receiver ... that took up most of the slack and at least muffled any noises ... then I installed the anti-rattle setup. Oh, and I got a locking pin for it, because ... well ... he'll be parking in the city, where anything that isn't locked will probably be stolen ... but that's optional, depending on where you live. Overall, the aluminum tube is pretty sturdy and good looking with an attractive semi-flat wrinkle finish, plus a durable-looking rubber pad that provides decent traction when stepping on it. The 36" version that I bought for him looks great on the back of his VW Golf wagon -- almost like it was designed for it. Its ruggedness really adds to the car, the black finish matches his white w/black trim VW, and the contours blend well with the shape of the car's back bumper cover. He (and I) are super pleased with the appearance. So, what could be better? First, it has plastic end caps. As others have commented, these aren't likely to last long. (Someone mentioned they've lost several of them). My friend hasn't lost his caps yet, but I warned him it's likely. I can't help but wonder: why didn't they just tack weld a couple aluminum disks to the end, so they wouldn't ever break or get lost? I get it that the plastic ones probably save the company a few pennies, but a couple small aluminum disks hardly seem expensive, and tacking them in place would take about 10 seconds per unit. Second, because the hitch step (which I prefer to refer to as a "bumper bumper") comes straight off the receiver, it actually sits below the bumper of most vehicles ... which isn't as ideal when someone gets too close to whatever vehicle it's installed in. I get it: this isn't strictly designed to prevent damage to one's bumper, but that's what a lot of people seem to buy them for ... especially in the longer 24" and 36" (like this one) sizes. So, in my ideal world, Go Rhino would have the tube sit atop the shank ... or maybe have a slight vertical riser welded to the shank and the bottom of the tube. (Fwiw, I tried to compensate for this by buying him a 4" riser adapter, but the problem with that was that it moved the hitch step/bumper bumper about 4" away from the bumper, which ... while good for helping protect the vehicle ... looked awkward and would make it harder for him to park. So, if Go Rhino made it rise up 2-4" without making it stick way out from the vehicle (unless someone wanted to, via extra mounting holes in the shank), that would be ideal. Other than those two nits that I've picked, it's really a great buy. Someone else pointed out in their review that theirs got hit and a bit mangled, because it's only a thin-walled tube. But if it gets mangled instead of the car's actual bumper, that's money well spent. Granted, to provide protection, it probably needs to be spaced away from the bumper an inch or more, which my friend didn't like as much (and I agree that, aesthetically, it looks better close to the bumper). But as others have pointed out, its mere presence seems to discourage others from getting too close to their vehicles, so maybe that will be the case for my friend, too. Overall, it's a good looking bumper bumper / hitch step and the price wasn't bad. Oh, one more thing: his is nice an level. Some folks complained about theirs being off by a degree or so, but the one I bought isn't. If it had been, I probably would have used a floor jack to try to "lift"/bend the low side up a bit ... but didn't have to worry about it. If I had a car that needed such protection -- or an actual step -- I'd definitely buy one of these again.

アクセントにヒッチステップを購入しましたが、洗車後の荷台が拭き易いです。【ピックアップトラックで使用】サイズもちょうどいいしカッコイイと思います。

Recieved it very fast happy with that. the bar itself is very good what expected. The hitch pin attaching is ok. works, but invites theft. I will get a locking one. the antirattle parts are cheesy, I will modify to improve, thats ok for me. So over all its good for me, you get what you pay for.

The hitch step is not only there to help access your roof rack, but in my case, helped protect my truck from serious damage in a recent rear-end accident. Great product. Helps enhance the look @ the back end of the vehicle.

My wife got ramed by a distracted driver on their phone, after getting the car fixed, I hurd about people using these as protection add-ons, gotta tell you even she has noticed the difference with drivers maintaining a safe distance on the road! Definitely recommend to anyone ! I got a lock from amazon as well usually recommended as combo purchase. Worth the investment !

Looks Good! perfect for my 2016 Ford Explorer. Only thing is... it is actually light. I am not sure how strong. The anti vibration doesnt work, I have to use my other stuff.
