JVC Marshmallow headphones
This is the first time I've felt compelled to write a review on any product I've gotten through Amazon, and for good reason. I bought these headphones after owning two pairs of Skullcandy earbuds that gave out within about 3 months each. After getting frustrated with the Skullcandy brand I decided to scour the web for a better replacement, and I am so glad I found these headphones! Comparing them to Skullcandy's, they feel much more comfortable in my ear, are way better at blocking outside sounds, and have crisp and clear bass and high notes that never sound tinny. I've had them for about 6 months, and they sound just as good now as they did when I first put them in. That's another thing: these earbuds do not seem to need "breaking in". They sound excellent right out of the box. As a musician I appreciate that I can hear the whole range of instruments and melodies inherent in each song I listen to with these earbuds, and when turning up the volume, the melody and vocals become louder as well instead of just the background instruments, which is what I experienced with other headphones. The quality of these earbuds' parts is also much better than the standard Skullcandy Ink'd buds I used previously: the cord is thicker and feels more substantial and soft, rubbery, and flexible, and the base where it plugs into an audio jack is sturdy. The best part is the feel of the "marshmallow" earbuds, which feel like some sort of memory foam that is so smooth and feels nice in your ear. I run and exercise frequently, and these buds seldom slip out of my ears, which is so nice. Overall, I would recommend to anyone looking for a low-priced, high quality pair of earbuds to check out the marshmallows for a pleasant surprise.

Smalled fit than skullcandy
Couple of things I liked about this product (which i will compair to my skullcandy I've used for years) is the highs are clear. Very clean sounding. Also doesn't appear cheaply made. Couple of things I don't like is the size/fit of the bud. Its not big enough to cut out outside sound. Its feels like it might pop out. The skullcandy was perfect for size and filler. Maybe my opening is bigger than some. I'm 6ft 185lb male and these aren't great for cutting out the horrible music LA Fitness plays in West Wood. Man thats some poor taste in music. Anyway the other thing is...there's NO bass. Skullcandy has amazing bass, but not great high's like the JVC does.So if you are a smaller person and prefer the clear highs for a inexpensive price I'd say go for it.If you are a larger man or just have a larger opening and have used skullcandy with success you will not like this for noise cancellation. Its a great price, don't get me wrong, but so are the skullcandy buds. Your call.......

Great product (Period)
I've had these earbuds for several months now and everyday I'm more amazed on how good they actually are. The sound quality is amazing on the whole range of audible frequencies. Awesome bass, vocals, treble, and in-between. The marshmallow isolation/cushioning material is great and will fit a wide range of ear sizes since it's actually a memory foam kind of material. And just to be sure, the product includes 2 sets of different sizes. The sound isolation is great. Actually, it's dangerously great. Don't use while driving or while the wife tries to talk to you. Even if your music is off, the noise and sound you hear from your surroundings are amazingly low. Once you take them off, the real world sounds like hell. The cable is long enough for you to move comfortably even when you have your music player in a low pocket, but not as long to be a nuisance.Talking about durability, these earbuds seem pretty robust. Have been using them daily for several months and they are intact and I cannot foresee any wearing-off in a near future.I have to point out, though, that putting them on isn't as simple as you should think. You must follow the instructions, otherwise, you will be reading more reviews criticizing the sound isolation. Actually it's a non-issue. Just press the earphone's marshmallow with your fingers (to compress it) in order to let it fit in easily into your ear. It will then expand and isolate you from the world outside. Once again, FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS.If you're interested, buy it. I would hate recommending a non-awesome product to anyone since I am a customer that takes reviews very seriously. I hope this one has been of help. Kind regards.

Simple, cheap, and good sounding.
I have owned probably ten pairs of these over the last three years or so. I have experimented with some other buds in the price range but never felt like moving into a higher class (even if, logically, it might be more cost effective to get a nicer pair). These are, plainly, the most comfortable and best sounding earbuds I have been able to find. One of the things I like best about their design is their sound isolation. They block out outside sounds very well, which pumps up the perceived quality of the sound. Conversely I think they also prevent sound from escaping your ears while they're inserted, which is something I look for, as I don't want to be that obnoxious person on the bus blasting their music.Their design--aesthetically-- is also, in my opinion, superior to many others at this price and even higher. They have an understated look and no tacky flared shapes and crazy colors or decals. If you noticed, earlier I said I have owned somewhere near ten pairs of these. By far the greatest weakness of this product is durability. I don't think I am particularly rough with my earbuds, but they receive normal use. The longest any one pair of these has lasted is probably three months. During the busier months of the year when I'm more likely to be out and about listening to music, it approaches one month. I guess one of the wires tends to wear down with time, but one bud always breaks, sometimes starting to get quieter and more far away sounding before it stops putting out sound altogether. But at 15 bucks, it doesn't phase me as much as it would with more expensive buds which may or may not avoid similar problems.Maybe I'll just invest in a 3rd party warranty so I can swap these out every time they break.
