I have used Sylvia's Secret Seasoning for years. I originally wanted a good blend of herbs and spices WITHOUT salt so I did not have to keep 6 or 7 spice jars around. Sylvia's Seasoning provides just that and is great on meats, vegetables, soups, stews, casseroles, etc. I disregard the recipe's instructions for a specific item and add the equivalent of Sylvia's. I have never been disappointed. It is especially good for spaghetti and really brings flavor to slow cooked foods. I have given jars of this seasoning to friends and family and all just love it. PERFECT, i had to order this becasue the store was out of it. I use this all the time in seasoning my food. I dont use salt at all and this is a great add to food.

Its Sylvia's! What do you expect! Love it on boiled red skin potatos or even the canned Hannover brand. A healthy dollop of Kerrygold butter and a little salt, shake it on to taste, and BAM! (yeah, i know, Emeril LaGassie...)

I found a bottle of this a long time ago at Xmas Tree Shop and used it up in no time flat. Couldn't find it again and then found it on the internet. Kind of pricey by the jar but bought a whole case and gave out a few but if you only had one seasoning this is it. I use it in everything....soups, stews. gravies...great in Italian food. Give it a try.

I am on a low sodium diet, so I need help with salt-free seasonings to make food taste better. Sylvia's is one of the best I've ever had. I recommend it highly.Make sure you order the one without sodium, they have others that do contain salt.Sylvia had a restaurant in Harlem, I guess it was pretty successful. She died within the last year, too bad.

I use to buy this product at whole foods market but they stop carring it, and I was not able to find it anywhere until I went online and Amazon had it. I have ordered two cases over the last two years. What I like about it is it does not have MSG, and the many spices that make up the total seasoning is usually enough for most things I cook though for garlic lovers you will need to add it.
