Pretty & perfect!
I bought this to put a candle warmer on- it's very sturdy, prettier than the pictures, and works great. It's a lovely trivet and will work well for whatever your intended use is.

A beautiful hot pot rest
I love this hot pot resting cast iron grid. It’s a little smaller than I thought it was going to be but it’s very durable. It actually sits about a quarter inch off the countertop so it really protects my counters from the heat

Rustic finish
When this arrived in the mail it was not what I was expecting. I thought it was a black color with a smooth surface, but it's actually a very rustic, almost rusty, looking finish that is not smooth. It's not rough like it's going to scratch, it's just not the smooth feeling that most trivets have. So if you're looking for that aesthetic, it's perfect, it's just not what I was looking for. I'm going to keep it because there's nothing wrong with it and returning things is a PITA. It's very sturdy and sits level. The rubber feet are very well attached and won't fall off. It also came with an extra 4 rubber feet, which is very nice.

Solid construction. Functional, and decorative.
I got this for someone as a gift, but I got to see it before I gave it away. It is definitely made of sturdy construction. It feels substantial to heft it. And it serves to purpose of keeping hot pots elevated from the table top and table cloth. The 4 feet are at the extreme corners, so no matter where you press on the top you cannot tip it over. (A pot could fall off the side, but that's different.) It's a nice gift. It's not a Maserati, but it's durable, and a memento of the occasion.
