Works great!
After properly building up the charge capacity (5 charge/drain cycles), this battery works exactly as expected, with slightly longer battery life that the original Yaesu battery. Note that the original charge cycle only provided about an hour of power, but after 5 cycles, as recommended by the manufacturer, it now provides 10-12 hours of power under normal use.

Good value replacement battery
I bought a used FT-70 and its battery was completely shot, wouldn't hold a charge and showed a low battery indicator as soon as you tried transmitting off the charger. This battery fit perfectly and I can listen on the radio for a lot longer. A great option for those who need a replacement or a secondary battery for their FT-70

Use your judgment
Just an FYI. Comparing between Yaesu pack and this pack using an xray machine.It clearly this pack have zero protection of sensor of any kind.Use it as your onw risk. I purchased and probably purchase again, may be.This pack is $32 Comparing to a $39 currently for Yaesu pack. Use your judgment.Watching it like a hawk while charging. The risk is there, but for me saving $7 over the pack with protection or sensor is not worth it.This pack should have been some where between $15-$20 then may be but not at at $32 each.Performance wise was about the same as Yaesu made packs. I doubt it if it is a true 2000mA. I will no more about the performance when I put a few more cycles through it, let the chemical stabilize a bit.3 stars for no protection or sensor and pricing is almost as much as the original Yaesu pack.

Yaesu quality product, just as expected
This battery is an authentic Yaesu SBR-24LI just as expected and an OEM spare for my Ft-70DR. Fit, operation and appearance were just as expected. I haven't had a chance to put this cell through the paces but expect no issues.

Longer run time than original
Never had good runtime with the 1800mAh original one. Got maybe 8hrs just listening.This one went about 12 hours listening. Plastic is same size as original. Looks to have come from same injection mold.So far, seems like a solid replacement.

Great spare battery to have.
Great non-OEM battery, definitely adds some extra run time over stock battery. No issues charging with a rapid base. Will definitely pick up more.
